Chhattisgarh NEET PG 2025 Stray Round Registration Begins; Check Complete Schedule Here

Chhattisgarh Directorate of Medical Education has started the NEET PG 2025 stray vacancy round counselling for MD and MS courses. The notice was issued on February 19, 2026 from Nava Raipur.

Fresh online registration and choice filling are now open for eligible candidates. Those who were previously registered but not allotted any seat must re-submit their choices. The complete process will be conducted online through the official counselling portals.

The Directorate has released the complete timeline for new registration and choice filling. Candidates must follow the server time strictly.

Candidates are advised to complete the process before the deadline to avoid last-minute issues.

The notice clearly states that previously registered but unallotted candidates must fill fresh choices. Their earlier selected institutions have automatically become null.

If they do not complete fresh choice filling, they will not be considered for seat allotment in the stray round.

Candidates who earlier selected only government medical colleges and now wish to opt for private medical colleges must pay the difference in registration amount.

Only after paying the additional amount will they be allowed to select private institutions.

What Happens if a Candidate Does Not Take Admission?

The counselling committee has issued a strict warning:

• If a candidate does not join after allotment or
• Takes admission and later resigns the seat, then the entire registration amount will be forfeited.

Additionally, the candidate will become ineligible for further rounds (if conducted) and next year’s counselling.

The entire counselling process including fee payment, choice filling, and locking must be completed carefully by the candidate. Any incorrect information may lead to cancellation of allotment, and the responsibility will lie with the applicant.
