CUET PG 2023: 5 Lakh Applications Received; 195 Institutions to Participate

New Delhi: According to the latest reports, this year, the CUET-PG 2023 has received 5 lakh applications, up from 3.75 lakh in 2022 and a total of 195 universities are participating, up from 66 last year. Earlier, the online application deadline for CUET-PG was May 11, 2023. Many applicants who have taken different exams might be relieved by the increase in the number of participating higher education institutions (HEIs).

The University Grants Commission made a plea to institutions earlier in this year to take the common entrance test CUET, which is required for central universities. Along with the 39 Central Universities, this year's CUET PG 2023 has been adopted by 46 state universities, 101 private deemed universities, and 10 government-funded HEIs.

According to one of the authorities from the National Testing Agency, one candidate may submit applications to as many HEIs as they choose and up to 20 different academic areas. A majority of candidates have applied for multiple subjects so the total number of test-takers is expected to cross 9 lakh. Therefore, the CUET PG 2023 examination for the academic session 2023-2024 is scheduled to be held from June 5, 2023 to June 12, 2023.

All the registered candidates can expect the release of the CUET PG 2023 admit card in the fourth week of May, and the CUET PG 2023 results will be declared by the first week of July 2023.
