NTA has concluded the Day 1 of CUET PG 2025 exam on March 13, 2025 in three shifts. The paper analysis and question paper are released here after the shift.
National Testing Agency has ended the CUET PG 2025 exams on March 13, 2025. The exam has been conducted in three shifts. The overall difficulty level is expected to be moderately difficult. Once the shift is over, the detailed paper analysis and memory-based question paper is available here.
Today, Shift 1 exam has been conducted from 9 AM to 10.30 AM for Theatre, Botany and Statistics papers. Shift 2 exams started at 12.30 PM and continued till 2 PM for Art and Aesthetics and Mathematics papers. CUET PG 2025 shift 3 was scheduled from 4.00 PM - 05.30 PM for B.Ed. Humanities and Social Sciences and Electronics Communication and Information Engineering.
For 2025-2026 academic session, 4,12,024 individual registered candidates will appear for the exam for entry into 157 master's degree and professional programs among 190+ participating institutions. CUET PG 2025 Admit Card for the exam scheduled to be held on March 13-20, 2025.

CUET PG 2025 Exam Analysis
CUET PG 2025 examinations will consist of application-based questions, critical reasoning, and applying theoretical concepts to practical situations. Compared to CUET PG 2023 and 2024, which were more theory-based with a focus on memorization and direct factual recall, CUET PG 2025 will have a stronger emphasis on analytical thinking and application of knowledge. - Shift 1 – Based on past trends, the difficulty level for Statistics remained moderate to challenging. Subjects like Botany and Theatre are likely to feature more theoretical and application-based questions, with difficulty levels considered to be moderate.
- Shift 2 – The arts and aesthetics exam was reported to be easy to moderate. Whereas, Mathematics was moderate to difficult.
- Shift 3 – The difficulty level of the CUET PG 2025 Electronics Communication and Information Engineering exam paper was moderate, similarly the B.Ed. Humanities and Social Sciences exam paper was also moderate.

CUET PG 2025 Shift Timings

As per the new changes, CUET PG 2025 exam pattern will provide 90 minutes per subject per paper for the test takers to take the exam. Previously the duration of the CUET 2025 exam was 2 hours (120 minutes) which was reduced to 1 hour 45 minutes (105 minutes) last year. According to the latest exam pattern the time period for the CUET PG 2025 exam has been further reduced to 1.5 hours (90 minutes). The number of questions asked in the exam remains the same (75 questions).
CUET PG 2025 March 13 shift 3 will start from 4.00 PM - 05.30 PM for B.Ed. Humanities and Social Sciences and Electronics Communication and Information Engineering test papers.
Candidates should carry with you only the following items:
- Personal transparent water bottle
- A simple transparent Ball Point Pen
- Admit Card along with Self Declaration (Undertaking) downloaded from the NTA website (a clear printout on A4 size paper) duly filled in
- Additional passport-size photograph for pasting on the Attendance Sheet
- Original valid ID proof
Each question in CUET PG 2025 question paper will carry 4 marks. There is also a negative marking of 1 mark for each incorrect answer. Unanswered or unattempted questions will receive no marks.
As per the previous years’ the expected CUET PG 2025 difficulty level of Mathematics will be moderately challenging, whereas Arts and Aesthetics exam will be easy to moderate.
NTA concludes the CUET PG 2025 March 13 Shift 2 at 2 PM. The paper analysis and memory-based question paper will be created based on the inital reaction.
NTA has released the CUET PG 2025 hall ticket PDF for March 13 to 20, 2025 on March 8, 2025. The admit card for the upcoming exams will be released soon.
According to the new CUET PG 2025 exam pattern, the test-takers will solve 75 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) in each paper. The exam duration is 90 minutes.

The CUET PG 2025 Question Paper will be available in English and Hindi (Bilingual), except for the following:
- 41 language papers – Available in their respective languages.
- Technical/Higher Sciences – Papers will be in English only.
- Acharya Papers – Available in Sanskrit only, except for Indian Knowledge System and Bauddha Darshana, which will be trilingual (Hindi/Sanskrit/English).
- Hindu Studies – Available in Hindi and English.
