On Day 4 of CUET UG 2023, a total of 1,49,900 candidates registered to appear for the exam, out of which only 73.33% took the exam. Read the full details here!

New Delhi: University Grants Commission Chief M Jagadesh Kumar shared the statistics for Day 4 of the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) UG 2023. As per the data, the number of candidates who registered for the exam was 1,49,900 and attendance stood at 73.33%.
The CUET UG 2023 exam was conducted in multiple shifts and across various cities. In the first shift, the exam took place in 291 centres across 289 cities. In the second shift, it was conducted in 350 centres across 255 cities.
In the third shift, the exam was held in 433 CUET UG centres across 273 cities. The number of students scheduled to appear in each shift was as follows: 20,690 in the first shift, 45,989 in the second shift, and 83,221 in the third shift.
CUET UG 2023, which commenced on May 21, is set to conclude on June 8. The first two phases of the exams have already taken place, and the average attendance rate for these phases stood at 69.3 per cent. These phases were conducted across 303 cities at 712 centres, with a total of 14,88,375 candidates scheduled to appear
In response to complaints from Jammu and Kashmir students regarding their exam centres being located in neighbouring states, the National Testing Agency (NTA) decided to postpone the exam in the union territory. Initially planned to begin on May 21, the exam was rescheduled and commenced from May 26 onwards.
In Manipur, the exams have been scheduled to take place from June 5 to 8 due to the prevailing law and order situation in the state. Students from Manipur have been given the opportunity to change their designated city until May 30.
Admit cards for exams have been released by the NTA up until June 2. A total of 14,99,778 candidates have registered for the exam. For the latest updates on CUET UG 2023, candidates are advised to keep a tab on the official exam website at cuet.samarth.ac.in.
