The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) is giving candidates for the June 2023 Foreign Medical Graduate Exam (FMGE) one more opportunity to fix any document errors. Check the full details here!

New Delhi: The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has announced that candidates who intend to sit the Foreign Medical Graduate Exam (FMGE) June 2023 examination will have one more opportunity to make any necessary document corrections. Candidates who failed to edit their documents can still submit them at the official website of NBEMS i.e., natboard.edu.in. The files must be submitted no later than July 20, 2023.

FMGE June 2023 admit card will be issued on July 25, 2023 and exam will be held on July 30, 2023. As per NBEMS, only those applicants who possess both the eligibility certificate and the provisional pass certificate or degree certificate of main medical qualification will be allowed to appear in FMGE June 2023 exam. The FMGE Admit Card 2023 will be made available on July 25, 2023, for the exam scheduled on July 30, 2023.

"Candidates who fail to submit duly completed applications with the necessary documents and/or fail to rectify the deficiencies in their applications by the last date prescribed for rectification shall be declared ineligible. Candidates who are ruled ineligible before the examination is conducted will not be given an admit card," the board continued. Additionally, candidates who do not provide the necessary documents will be disqualified from taking the test.

How To Do FMGE 2023 Edit Window?

The following steps should be followed in order to correct the application form for the FMGE 2023 exam:

Step 1: Head to the official website of NBEMS i.e., nbe.edu.in, natboard.edu.in.

Step 2: Now click on the FMGE 2023 login button or application form correction link available on the homepage.

Step 3: Then enter your user id and password and then click on the login button.

Step 4: After logging in, you can make all necessary changes to the FMGE 2023 application form at once.

Step 5: Save the changes you made and take a printout of the application form for your future references.

FMGE 2023: Image Upload Instruction

Here are the instructions for the format and image upload for candidates. Candidates may have their applications withdrawn if they fail to correct the photographs they supplied during registration.

  • Photograph: Students must provide a 35 mm x 45 mm passport-sized photo, with the image's file size being no larger than 80 Kb. JPG or JPEG format should be used for the uploaded image. Candidates are required to post two pictures. A real time photograph taken by the webcam/in-built camera of the computer system while filling the online application form and a recent photograph which is not more than 3 months old. 
  • Signature: Draw a box that is 1.5 cm tall by 3.5 cm wide. Sign in the space provided using a pen with black or dark blue ink. Connect the computer to the digital image. Resize the image to a 20 to 100 Kb aspect ratio after cropping it. 
  • Thumb impression: The image should be less than 80kb in size, 1.5 cm by 3.5 cm in size, and in jpg or jpeg format.
