FMGE 2023 Registration Delayed for December Session; Check Details Here

New Delhi: The National Medical Council (NMC) has delayed the registration process for the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination or the FMGE December 2023 till further notice. Earlier, the registration was scheduled to begin on October 16, 2023 on the official website, natboard.edu.in.

The FMGE 2023 exam would most likely be administered by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBSEMS) in December 2023, according to NMC. The application deadline for the FMGE 2023 December session is October 25, 2023 (till 6 PM). Aspiring candidates can apply for the entrance exam by submitting their applications at natboard.edu.in.

The FMGE is held twice a year by the Medical Council of India (MCI) or the State Medical Council (SMC) for Indian and international applicants seeking provisional or permanent registration to practice or study medicine in India.

Before applying for FMGE 2023, candidates must meet the qualifying requirements listed below:

• Nationality: Applicants must be either Indian citizens or Indian citizens living abroad.
• Qualification: Candidates must have a primary medical qualification certified by the Indian embassy in question, as well as a recognised qualification from a medical practitioner in the nation.
• Other qualifications: Candidates who possess medical tests from countries such as Canada, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, and the United States of America will not be required to qualify for the screening exam.

How to Fill the FMGE Registration Form 2023?

Candidates who wish to apply for the FMGE 2023 exam can follow the below-mentioned steps to submit their online applications for the same: 

Step 1: Go to the official website of the National Medical Commission @natboard.edu.in.

Step 2: Go to the 'Candidate Panel' section of the homepage and click on the "FMGE 2023 Registration" link.

Step 3: Register by filling out the required information, and then log in with your registration credentials to access the FMGE 2023 application form.

Step 4: Fill out the application form with the required information and upload a scanned copy of the mentioned documents in the prescribed format.

Step 5: Make an application fee of INR 6,490/- through credit card/ debit card/ net banking/e-Wallet payment gateway and click on the ‘submit’ button.

Step 6: Make a copy of the application form and the fee receipt for future reference.
