New Delhi: The Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore has issued the GATE 2024 information brochure on August 26, 2023. Candidates can download the GATE 2023 information brochure through the official website of GATE 2024 i.e., gate2024.iisc.ac.in.

IISc Bangalore administers the GATE computer-based test (CBT), which assesses candidates' thorough knowledge of a range of undergraduate engineering, technology, science, and architecture courses as well as undergraduate and graduate-level humanities and science courses. During GATE 2024, 30 test papers will be distributed over four days.

All of the information pertaining to the GATE 2024 examination's administration is contained in the GATE 2024 information brochure. The GATE 2024 score card remains valid three years after the results are revealed. Additionally, candidates with BDS, BVSc, or BSc degrees in agriculture, horticulture, or forestry are eligible to take the GATE 2024 exam.

GATE 2024: Eligibility Criteria

Candidats planning to appear for GATE 2024 must check the below-mentioned eligibility criteria before applying for the examination:

There are no prerequisites for taking the test, including minimum pass percentages.
Age Requirements: There is no predetermined minimum age for the GATE exam.
Nationality: To apply for GATE 2024, candidates must be of Indian heritage. If you live in Nepal, Bangladesh, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Ethiopia, or the United Arab Emirates, you can also apply for the exam. Candidates from these countries must have completed their undergraduate degrees.

How To Apply For GATE 2024?

Candidates can follow the below-mentioned steps to apply for GATE 2024 exam:

Step 1: Head to the official website for GATE 2024 @gate2024.iisc.ac.in.

Step 2: On the homepage, click on the “New User” and register yourself. An application number or enrollment ID will be issued to the registered email address following a successful registration.

Step 3: Login using GOAPS Enrollment ID and Password sent to the registered ID. Fill in the information requested on the application form, including your personal information and educational background.

Step 4: Upload scanned documents including Passport-size Photograph, Signature, Eligibility Certificate, SC/ST Certificate and PwD Certificate as per the given guidelines above.

Step 5: Based on the category, candidates must pay the application fee through credit card, debit card, or net banking.

Step 6: Before submitting the application form, a candidate must read and accept the declaration statement. Once the declaration has been accepted, candidates can submit the application form.
