New Delhi: The Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) has released the registration dates for GMAT 2023 (Focus Edition) an updated version of the Graduate Management Admission Test, on its official website @gmac.com.
Interested and eligible candidates can check their eligibility and apply for the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT 2023) Focus Edition, the online registration will begin on August 29, 2023.
This year, the GMAC has made several changes regarding GMAT 2023. The GMAT Exam time has been reduced by an hour in the current edition with 10 fewer and 13 fewer Quant and Verbal questions. The test will also include the new Data Insights section which will replace Integrated Reasoning. Candidates will have 45 minutes to finish each section of the exam. This entrance exam will not have any essay writing.
The new GMAT Focus Edition will allow the candidates to mark certain questions and review/revise them. It is for the first time when the candidate will b e able to change three answers per section. Candidates can also attempt the questions in any order they want.
According to a statement by GMAC CEO Jon JonesNew, “GMAT will allow candidates to optimize their preparation for graduate business education while helping schools attract a global pool of qualified and diverse applicants". .
Moreover, the official GMAT Focus prep materials will be made available on mba.com from June 6, 2023 along with a free study planner for a duration of six weeks to guide the test takers stick to a schedule, informing about the prep activities, and tracking progress, as well as a free GMAT Focus Official Starter Kit. This kit will come with a sampler of 70 real GMAT questions and two full-length practice exams to help candidates establish a better performance baseline.
The sentence correction section has also been removed from the new GMAT Syllabus. However, The Data Insights (DI) part has been added to the GMAT Focus Edition Syllabus. Applicants for the GMAT Focus Edition are not required to pay any extra fees. It will remain the same as GMAT's earlier version.
GMAT 2023 Registration: How to Apply?
Once the registration starts, candidates can go through the following steps to register for the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) 2023 Registration (Focus Edition).
Step 1: Visit the official website i.e., gmac.com.
Step 2: On the homepage, click on the “Register” link.
Step 3: Enter your details to register yourself and login using the generated credentials to proceed further.
Step 4: Next, fill up the “GMAT 2023 Application Form” by entering your personal details.
Step 5: Attach the necessary scanned documents and preview the application form.
Step 6: Finally, click on “Submit”. Download the application form & keep a copy of the same for further needs.
