GMC Medical PG Admission: Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates must have an MBBS degree from a recognised university
- There is no upper age limit for admission to PG Medical Courses-2024
- Candidates must be Indian citizens
- All candidates seeking admission to Post Graduate Medical Degree courses in the State of Kerala for the academic year 2024-2025 shall have to qualify for the NEET PG2024

GMC Medical PG Admission: Required Documents
Admit Card: Provided by NBE/CEE.
- Fee Receipt: Proof of fee payment (specific for state quota candidates).
- Allotment Memo: Issued by NBE/CEE.
- Rank Letter/Score Sheet: As provided.
- Transfer Certificate: From the last institution attended.
- MBBS Degree Certificate: Required.
- Mark Sheets: For MBBS 1st, 2nd, and 3rd professional examinations.
- Internship Completion Certificate: Mandatory.
- Medical Council Registration Certificate: Issued by Travancore Cochin Medical Council.
- Tenth/SSLC Certificate: For verification purposes.
- Eligibility Certificate: From KUHS for students who completed their MBBS at other universities.
- Category Certificate: (ST/SC/OBC/PH/EWS/DK) issued by the relevant authority, as per PG Information Bulletin guidelines.
- Uploaded Bonds: Downloaded from the college website, printed on stamp paper (additional stamp paper may be required).
- Proof of Identity: Aadhar card copy and two passport-size photos.
Soft Copy Submission
PDF format of all certificates (each file under 150kb).
Passport-size photo specifications: maximum size of 30kb, dimensions of 150px x 200px, JPG format with a white background.
Note: A declaration confirming no prior PG course under state quota is required, along with service details for candidates under the service quota.
Bond Information
- Bond Duration: 1 year (applicable to both AIQ and state quota candidates).
- Number of Bonds: Two (one for course discontinuation, one for serving the Kerala government).
- Bond Amount: ₹50,00,000.
- Sureties: Two individuals (must be the candidate's parents).
- Witness: A gazetted officer from Kerala or central government service.
- Stamp Paper: Each bond must be on ₹200/- Kerala stamp paper, typed as instructed.
- Stipend/Salary: ₹21,22,848 per year for MD/MS courses. Service candidates will receive their salary along with study-related allowances.
Fee payment must be made through direct banking only to Account Number 033605007101 at ICICI Bank, Medical College Branch, Thiruvananthapuram. Payments through other platforms will not be accepted. Library and LRC fees must be paid in cash. An additional non-refundable Academic Development Fee of ₹5000 is required, separate from the regular tuition fees.
Scanned copies of all original certificates should be emailed to medicalpggmctvm@gmail.com. Each document must be under 150 KB, and submission is mandatory. SC/ST/OEC students from outside Kerala are required to pay the full fee amount.
