AMRU, Himachal Pradesh, has invited applications for quota change to NRI/NRI Sponsor for Round 3 of NEET PG Counselling 2024. Eligible candidates must email required documents by January 6, 2025, at 12:00 noon; late submissions won’t be accepted.
The Atal Medical and Research University (AMRU), Himachal Pradesh, has issued an important notice for candidates seeking to change their quota from State or Management to NRI/NRI Sponsor for the third round of PG MD/MS Counselling 2024. Candidates eligible for quota conversion must email their documents to counselling.amruhp@gmail.com no later than January 6, 2025, at 12:00 noon. Late submissions will not be entertained.

Required Steps for Quota Conversion
- Eligibility: Candidates must fulfill all criteria outlined in the PG MD/MS Prospectus 2024-25.
- Document Submission: All documents must be enclosed in a single email.
Mandatory Documents
The following documents must be submitted in English or with an English translation if originally in a regional language:
- NRI status certificate issued within the last six months by the Indian embassy or relevant authority.
- Proof of the candidate's relationship with the NRI sponsor as per the Supreme Court order (W.P. (C) No. 689/2017).
- Affidavit from the sponsor guaranteeing to cover the candidate’s course fees, notarized.
- NEET PG 2024 scorecard.
- Family tree notarized by the Tehsildar.
Conditions and Verification
The quota change to NRI/NRI Sponsor is provisional and subject to:
- Document verification by the allotted college authorities during reporting.
- Embassy certification of the sponsor’s documents through the Ministry of External Affairs or respective High Commissions.
- Legal action and cancellation of admission in case of submission of fake documents.
