IGNOU Innovation Council to Organise a Business Plan Competition 2023 For Students & Alumni

New Delhi: The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) is hosting a Business Plan Competition 2023 for IGNOU Students and Alumni through the Institution's Innovation Council (IIC). The deadlines for all the interested candidates to submit their Business Model Canvas and Complete Business Plans are May 28 and June 20, 2023, respectively.

The IGNOU students and graduates who have created innovative business plans for startups or entrepreneurship are encouraged to take participation in the Business Plan Competition 2023. There'll be two rounds of the Business Plan Competition-2023.

Through encouraging, assisting, and nurturing the creative IGNOU students and graduates interested in founding their own enterprises, IIC has actively worked to foster its students and alumni towards Atmanirbhar Bharat.

IGNOU Business Plan Competition 2023: Eligibility Criteria 

All the IGNOU students and alumni who have planned and built a prototype of an innovative business plan for launching a business or startup based on fresh, practically applicable, and socially relevant business ideas from the provided themes are eligible to enter the competition.

The nominated students and alumni will receive training and mentoring on creating business plans that will make them able to move on to the next phase. Following the conclusion of the First Round, the shortlisted students and alumni will be given the opportunity to submit their comprehensive business plans in the Second Round using the format provided.

The teams that made the first and second rounds' short lists will receive the certificates of participation. The First, Second, and Third Place Winners in the Second Round each will receive a Certificate of Merit. The University's choice will be irrevocable and enforceable.

All the Interested Students and Alumni of IGNOU who have an Innovative Business Idea or Plan for Startup or Entrepreneurship can submit their Business Model Canvas using the Google form. After that the shortlisted candidates will be provided with a separate template for the second round of the Business Plan Competition-2023.
