Indian Institute of Management (IIM) has officially notified the Stage 2 Personal Interview shortlist for the Common Admission Process 2026. Applicants who have successfully completed stage 1 of the CAP process can now check their shortlist status by logging in to the official IIM CAP 2026 portal.
According to the latest IIM CAP 2026 notification, applicants shortlisted for Stage 2 must pay the CAP Application fee of INR 2,000 for Stage 2 within the given deadline to confirm their participation in the Personal Interview round. Failure to follow this step will result in the candidature being removed from further stages of the admission process. However, the Date-Slot Booking will be available on a First-Come, First-Served basis.

The CAP 2026 PI rounds are scheduled to be conducted from February 23 to March 31, 2026. These interviews will be held for admission to various participating IIMs under the Common Admission Process. The PI round is a gateway to the final selection, as it evaluates candidates based on personal & academic details, work experience, Co-& Extra-curricular activities, and supporting documents.

Candidates can access their shortlist status, fee payment link, and other important instructions through the CAP 2026 login portal hosted by the coordinating IIM. Candidates belonging to the General, NC-OBC, and EWS categories have to pay the application fee of INR 2,000. In contrast, SC, ST, and PwD categories have to pay INR 1,000.
IIM CAP 2026 Application Process
Stage 1: Interested candidates have to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) to get their application reviewed.
Step 2: After application review, candidates will be shortlisted for PI
Step 3: Shortlisted candidates have to pay the CAP application fee and select a PI Slot, including place, date & time.
Step 4: Candidates have to appear for the CAP interview
