IIM Indore Begins DPM Admission 2026

The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Indore has invited applications for its Doctoral Programme in Management (DPM) 2026 for aspiring researchers and academicians. The programme is aimed at candidates with a strong academic foundation, research aptitude, and interest in management scholarship.

The online application process began on December 16, 2025, and eligible candidates can submit their forms until February 28, 2026. Selection will be carried out in multiple stages, including personal interviews.

Who is Eligible to Apply for IIM Indore DPM Admission 2026?

To be eligible, candidates must fulfil one of the following academic criteria:

  • Master’s degree in any discipline with at least 60% marks
  • Two-year postgraduate diploma with at least 60% marks
  • CA / ICWA / CS with at least 50% marks
  • Five-year integrated master’s degree with at least 60% marks
  • Four-year bachelor’s degree with first class or equivalent

Additionally, candidates must have secured at least 60% marks in Class X and Class XII. A 5% relaxation is applicable for SC, ST, and PwD candidates.

Candidates appearing in the final year of their qualifying degree can apply. However, selected candidates must submit provisional certificates by June 2026, and final mark sheets by December 2026. Failure to meet these deadlines will lead to cancellation of provisional admission.

Which Entrance Test Scores Are Accepted for DPM 2026?

Applicants must submit a valid score from any one standardised test, depending on their chosen specialisation:

  • CAT / GRE / GMAT / GATE / JRF, as applicable to the area
  • Test scores must be valid for three years on the application deadline
  • Online or take-home GMAT/GRE scores are not accepted

Candidates who have completed an MBA or equivalent from any IIM in the last three years are exempted from submitting test scores.

Candidates must submit their applications online between December 16, 2025 and February 28, 2026. The application fee is ₹1,000 plus GST for candidates belonging to the General, NC-OBC, and EWS categories, while SC, ST, and PwD candidates need to pay ₹500 plus GST. The application fee is non-refundable and non-transferable under any circumstances.

How Will Candidates be Selected for IIM Indore DPM?

The selection process includes four stages:

  1. Online application submission and eligibility screening
  2. Shortlisting based on academic profile and test scores
  3. Personal Interview (PI) at IIM Indore, expected in April 2026
  4. Final selection based on PI performance and area-wise requirements

Only candidates meeting the minimum performance standards at each stage will be considered for final admission.

Shortlisted candidates will be informed about personal interview schedules and further instructions. Applicants are advised to regularly check official updates and prepare relevant documents for the interview and verification stages.
