Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Kashipur recently organised its 10th convocation ceremony, where a total of 353 students received their degrees.

New Delhi: IIM Kashipur Hosted its 10th Convocation Ceremony for its flagship Two-Year MBA (class of 2021-2023), MBA Analytics, Executive MBA, and Doctoral students at its campus. The institute conferred a total of 353 students with degrees, including 9 Doctoral scholars and 344 MBA Graduates (260 Two-Year MBA students, 58 MBA (Analytics) students, and 26 Executive MBA Graduates.
The Chief Guest of the Convocation, Mr. Mrugank Paranjape, MD and CEO of NCDEX E-Markets Limited, Prof. Kulbhushan Balooni, Director of IIM Kashipur, Shri Sandeep Singh, Chairman of the Board of Governors of IIM Kashipur, and other dignitaries led the Convocation procession.
The Chief Guest awarded the Institute’ Medals to a total of 7 students for their outstanding academic performance and the Medal for Best All-Round Performance to a student. In addition, the Directors' Merit List included 13 MBA and 3 MBA (Analytics) graduates.
Mr. Mrugank Paranjape, MD and CEO of NCDEX E-Markets Ltd, addressed the students and encouraged them, saying, "Today represents a historic event for the graduating students as they begin on a new chapter in their lives".
"IIM Kashipur is known for its dedication to academic excellence and for producing well-rounded individuals with the knowledge and abilities required to succeed in today's challenging business climate. I'm confident that the graduating class will succeed spectacularly in their chosen fields, and I wish them the best of luck for their future endeavors. It is an honor to participate in this important day and to honor the efforts and accomplishments of the IIM Kashipur students, professors, and staff” he further added.
Shri Sandeep Singh, the chairman of the board of governors at IIM Kashipur said, I am happy to see these bright young minds develop into future leaders who are ready to accept the challenges of the business world. IIM Kashipur has historically prioritized providing its students with a holistic education, thus I am confident that the graduating class of this year will have a significant impact on their careers”.
“From the corpus budget of the institute, we have allocated roughly INR 70 crore to improve the campus facilities. This achievement demonstrates that the institute has achieved self-sustainability, which may have been made possible by the combined efforts of all the stakeholders” he added.
Prof. Kulbhushan Balooni, Director of IIM Kashipur, delivered the institution's annual report and said “I am happy to see the 10th convocation ceremony of IIM Kashipur come to a successful conclusion. In the face of the extraordinary obstacles brought on by the post-COVID-19 era, our graduating students have shown exceptional leadership characteristics and skills. I congratulate them on their accomplishments as they start their professional careers and wish them the best of luck in all of their future endeavours”.
“Popularly Known for producing high-quality research, IIM Kashipur's faculties and scholars have published 77 research articles for the growth of the nation", he continued. Notably, this year's highest offer of INR 37 LPA was secured by IIM Kashipur, which secured 100% placements overall. The cohort 2021–23's average CTC, which has increased 19% year over year (YOY), is INR 18.11 LPA. In 2023 (91 female students), there will be 180% more female placements than there were in 2022 (77 female students).
IIM Kashipur has also contributed towards the development of the entrepreneurial ecosystem in the state of Uttarakhand by creating an incubation centre called the Foundation for Innovation and entrepreneurial Development (FIED) and collaborating with the state government.
