IIM Mumbai MBA Admission Criteria 2024-26 Out, 55% Weightage for CAT Score

New Delhi: The newly established IIM Mumbai (previously NITIE) has released the admission process and eligibility criteria for the batch of 2024-26 for admission to its MBA, MBA in Operations and Supply Chain Management, and MBA in Sustainability Management program.

In addition to this, IIM Mumbai is inviting applications for IIM Mumbai MBA Admission 2024-26 on its official website at iimmumbai.ac.in/admission-2024. The admission window is open for all eligible applicants from October 18 to January 31, 2024 (till 5:00 PM).

For the upcoming session, the institute has decided that MBA admissions will be made through the Common Admission Test, with its scores getting 55% weightage. IIM Mumbai has also fixed the fee of its MBA programs at INR 21 Lakh, the highest among the new generation IIMs.

IIM Mumbai MBA Eligibility Criteria 2024

Candidates who wish to apply for admission to IIM Mumbai MBA, MBA in Operations and Supply Chain Management, and MBA in Sustainability Management program are required to meet the below-mentioned criteria:

Master Of Business Administration (MBA):

Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA.
At least 45% marks are required for Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Persons with Disability (PwD) categories.
A valid score in CAT 2023, conducted by the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs).
Students in the final year can also apply.

MBA in Operations and Supply Chain Management

Full-time Engineering/Technology degree with aggregate 50% marks.
A relaxation of 5% is applicable for SC/ST/PwD candidates.
OR Full-time degree MSc in Mathematics or Statistics), Dual Degree (Maths and Computing) Minimum 5 yrs or BS./B. Tech (Economics) Minimum 4 yrs degree with aggregate 50% marks (relaxed by 5% for SC/ST/PwD candidates).
A valid score in the Common Admission Test (CAT 2023).

MBA in Sustainability Management

Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA.
At least 45% marks are required for Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Persons with Disability (PwD) categories.
A valid score in the Common Admission Test (CAT 2023).
Students in the final year can also apply.

IIM Mumbai MBA Selection Criteria 2024

Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria will be selected for IIM Mumbai MBA Admission 2024 on the basis of marks secured in the CAT 2023, performance in Personal Interview (PI), academic and Work experience and other factors such as reservation criteria, and gender diversity.

IIM Mumbai Admission 2024 PI Shortlisting

In stage 2, shortlisted candidates will be called for a Personal Interview (PI). Applicants must note that no weightage to academic scores and work experience will be given while calling aspirants for the interview rounds.
