IIM Ranchi Aims to Develop a Strategic Plan for 2030 with a New MBA Curriculum, Check Details Here!

New Delhi: IIM Ranchi Director, Deepak Kumar Srivastava has stated that the faculty members formulated a strategic plan named “IIM Ranchi @ 2030”. It sets four strategic priorities: education, impactful research, international collaboration, and social impact. He further quotes that other institutions actively engage in social initiatives and foster social awareness. However, IIM Ranchi has recognized social impact as a priority.

The IIM Ranchi offers a flagship program i.e., Postgraduate Programme (PGP) in MBA degree. The institute offers a range of academic choices in MBA, including an MBA in human resources, an MBA in business analytics, and executive and doctoral programs. The institute offers a five-year Integrated Programme in Management (IPM), which includes the curricula of a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and an MBA.

Introduced Liberal Arts and Science Academic Area

The institute has taken a significant step forward by introducing a Liberal Arts and Science Academic Area and renaming the “Strategic Management Area” as “Strategy and Entrepreneurship.” These strategic changes provide a comprehensive and dynamic education that equips students with various skills and perspectives for success in today’s rapidly changing world.

New Optional Classes Called “Enrichment Electives” Added

The institute minutely checked all the courses in its programs and made big and thorough improvements. The goal is to teach students about the newest things happening in work and society. They added new optional classes called "Enrichment Electives" in the program's first three years. These classes, like cinematography, Socratic dialogues, water management, sports management, storytelling, human connection, drama and theater, art and painting, etc., will give students a different perspective.

The IIM Ranchi Merit-cum-Means Scholarship is an initiative designed to recognize and support students who display both academic excellence and financial needs. The aim of introducing this integrated program is to give students more flexibility while keeping a balance between essential and optional classes. Students can choose from various elective courses.
