IIM Ranchi Opens PhD Admission 2025; Apply by April 30

Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Ranchi is inviting applications for PhD in Management for 2025. Admissions will be based on CAT, GATE, GRE, GMAT, or NET-JRF (UGC/CSIR) exam scores.

IIM Ranchi PhD Admission 2025 Eligibility Criteria

• Postgraduation or PGDM with first class distinction.
• B.Tech/4 years degree with 6.5 CGPA.
• CA/ICWA/CS and a B.Com degree with minimum 55% marks.
• A minimum of 55% marks in all their public examinations starting with the secondary level.
• Candidates appearing for their final year exam are also eligible to apply.

IIM Ranchi PhD Admission 2025 Selection Process

• Candidates with a valid CAT, GATE, GRE, GMAT or NET-JRF (UGC/CSIR) exams scores of the last two years will be considered.
• PGDM (full-time) candidates from any of the IIMs with a minimum CGPA of 6.5 in the last four years are exempted from the entrance exams and can directly apply.
• The candidates short-listed on the basis of their academic record and entrance test scores will be called for a seminar and personal interview for the final selection.
• Work experience in industry or academics will be a plus point during the selection process.

The application fee for SC/ST/PwD candidates is INR 1,000 and for other candidates is INR 2,000. The fee is non-refundable and must be submitted through online mode only.

Candidates must take a printout of the submitted application form and bring it along with the other documents for the PhD interview at IIM Ranchi.
