IIM Trichy PhD Admission 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must possess one of the following qualifications with a strong academic record:

• Master’s Degree or 2-year Post-Graduate Diploma in any discipline with at least 60% marks (or equivalent).
• Five-year/Four-year Integrated Master’s Degree with at least 60% marks.
• Professional Qualification (CA/ICWA/CS) with at least 50% aggregate marks and a Bachelor’s degree with 60% marks.
• 4-Year Bachelor’s Degree (8 semesters) with at least 60% marks or equivalent CGPA.
• Qualifying Exams: A valid score in CAT, GMAT, GRE, GATE, or UGC-JRF.
  • Exemption: Candidates with a PGDM from any IIM or PGPBM from IIM Trichy (with CGPA > 2.6/4.33) are exempted from these tests.
  • Alternative: Candidates without the above scores can appear for the IIMB Test.
