New Delhi: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Visakhapatnam has successfully launched the 'Executive Certificate Programme in Advanced Strategic Management'. The one-year degree will be delivered online, with a final campus immersion session towards the end.

A total of 45 executives from different industries have been enrolled for the strategic management programme of IIM Visakhapatnam. These enrollees have an average of 9.7 years of working experience.

The main objective of the executive certificate programme is to equip participants with the knowledge and skills required to tackle complex business challenges, develop effective strategies, and drive organizational growth.

Sharing a brief overview of the programme modules, the director of the Strategic Management Programme, Prof Karthika S shared a presentation on the programme participant profile.

Director of IIM Visakhapatnam, Prof. M. Chandrasekhar was the chief guest of the inaugural ceremony.

Congratulating the participants for signing up for the management programme, Prof Chandrasekhar offered some helpful suggestions on how to strengthen their ability to implement strategies. He also expressed how crucial corporate ethics are to strategic management in all its forms. Prof. Deepika Gupta, the co-director of the programme, also spoke at this event.

IIM Visakhapatnam faculty curated and designed the Advanced strategic programme to help professionals to understand the theory behind strategy implementation. Throughout the course, they will also get to know about the most recent developments in the field of strategy.
