New Delhi: The Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC) New Delhi has rolled out its first-ever PG Degree (MA) Programs for the academic year 2024-25. This MA program will be offered in Media Business Studies and Strategic Communication.

According to the IIMC, a total of 40 students each will be admitted to the MA in Media Business Studies (MA - MBS) and MA in Strategic Communication programs. Details regarding the programs and admission process shall be shared soon.

This year, the University Grants Commission announced that IIMC New Delhi is deemed to be a university. The institute offers admission to PG programs through the Common University Entrance Test Undergraduate (CUET PG).
Key Highlights of IIMC MA Programs 2024
The MA in Media Business Studies (MA-MBS) program of IIMC aims to fulfil the demand for professional managers in the media industry. Media organisations have become complex in the past few years, due to which, there's a requirement for professionals who understand the industry amid fast-paced technology developments.
On the other hand, the MA in Strategic Communication will prepare the students to become professionals who will manage communications helping in the fulfilment of strategic objectives of nations and organisations, the IIMC officials said.
This program will churn out trained StratCom professionals who will be able to serve across governments, public and private sectors, think tanks, and global companies in the domain.

Meanwhile, IIMC has announced the commencement of the counselling process for PG diploma courses for the academic session 2024-25. Candidates can register for counselling and fill their choices on the official website @iimc.admissions.nic.in.

How to Register for IIMC PG Diploma Counselling 2024?
To register for the counselling process, candidates have to enter details such as CUET PG roll number, CUET PG application number, name, father’s name, date of birth and gender in the counselling registration form available on the official website.
The institute will then verify the details entered by the candidates with the CUET PG result data. Upon successful authentication, the candidate will be required to choose a password to complete the remaining steps for registration. The candidates can also use their CUET PG Roll Number and chosen password for subsequent logins after successful registration.
