IIT Kanpur Launches Website Dedicated to Ramayana

New Delhi:  IIT Kanpur has inaugurated a website dedicated to Ramayana in sync with the inauguration of Ayodhya Ram Mandir on January 22, 2024. The users can access the shlokas and translations from the Valmiki Ramayana on the official website at valmiki.iitk.ac.in.

Informing about this initiative, the official website of IIT Kanpur states “Users can now edit the content. If they wish to be an editor, submit credentials through the website”. The users can also explore the shlokas and translations conveniently organized as Sarga Wise and Shloka Wise.

How to Explore Shlokas and Translations from IIT Kanpur Valmiki Website?

Interested candidates can follow the below steps to explore the shlokas and translations at the IIT Kanpur Launched website:

Step 1: Visit the official website Ramayana Website of IIT Kanpur valmiki.iitk.ac.in.

Step 2: Click on “View Shlokas and Translations” (Sarga Wise or Shloka Wise).

Step 3: Select the preferred script, language, and other customization options.

Step 4: The information will appear on the screen.

Step 5: Download the required information as needed.
