J&K BOPEE invites offline applications for NEET PG (MD/MS/PGD) 2024 admissions from January 10–12, 2025, following a reduction in eligibility criteria. Candidates must submit documents physically at BOPEE offices in Jammu or Srinagar.

The J&K Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (BOPEE) has announced the invitation of offline applications for admission to NEET PG (MD/MS/PGD) courses for the academic year 2024-25. This is for government and private medical colleges of Jammu & Kashmir. This round of counselling is specifically aimed at filling vacant seats following a revision in the NEET PG eligibility criteria.

Revised Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for NEET PG 2024 have been lowered as per the decision of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare in consultation with the National Medical Commission. The updated percentile requirements are:

  • Open Merit (including JKPM/CDP/Sports)/EWS: 15 percentile and above
  • SC/ST/OBC/ALC/IB/RBA: 10 percentile and above

Key Dates and Application Process

Eligible candidates can submit their applications physically at the BOPEE offices in Jammu and Srinagar. The timeline for this process is as follows:

Candidates must submit the requisite documents listed in Annexure-A of the notification.

Important Points for Applicants

  • Only candidates meeting the revised percentile criteria are eligible to apply.
  • Candidates already registered under previous notifications do not need to reapply.
  • Submission of applications does not guarantee allotment of seats.
  • The seat matrix will be published one day before the start of counselling.

Candidates must attach the following documents with their application:

  • Domicile Certificate
  • MBBS Degree Certificate
  • NEET PG Scorecard
  • Internship Completion Certificate
  • Medical Council Registration Certificate
  • Matriculation Certificate (as proof of Date of Birth)
  • Any other relevant certificates

Seats will be allotted based on merit and preferences. Candidates should stay updated through official notifications and the BOPEE website. Vacancies remaining after this round will be addressed in subsequent counselling rounds.
