JEE Advanced 2023 on June 04: What to do before, during, and after the JEE Advanced Exam?

New Delhi: IIT Guwahati will conduct the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced 2023 tomorrow on June 4, 2023. Recently, the JEE Advanced 2023 Admit Card was released on the official website @jeeadv.ac.in. 

Candidates appearing for the JEE Advanced who have registered must take a printout of the admit card before the exam as it is a mandatory document. Candidates can visit the official website to download the JEE Advanced 2023 Admit Card, which contains relevant information, including the guidelines that candidates must adhere to during the exam. 

It is crucial for all candidates to familiarise themselves with and strictly follow the JEE Advanced 2023 exam day guidelines as mentioned in the article below. 

What to do before the JEE Advanced 2023 Exam? 

  • Admit Card and Photo ID: Candidates need to bring a printed copy of their downloaded JEE admit card along with a valid original photo identity card.
  • Allowed Items: Only pens, pencils, drinking water in a transparent bottle, the downloaded admit card, and an original photo identity card are permitted inside the exam hall.
  • Reporting to Examination Centers: Candidates must arrive early at the examination centers and complete the necessary formalities mentioned on the admit card. The examination centers will open at 7 AM.
  • Entry Time: Candidates who arrive after the exam has started will not be granted entry into the examination hall 

Instructions to Follow During the JEE Advanced 2023 Exam 

  • Scribble Pad and Signing: Each candidate will be provided with a scribble pad. After entering their names and JEE Advanced 2023 registration number in the designated space, the candidate must sign the scribble pad.
  • Marking Attendance: Candidates are required to sign the attendance list to mark their presence for both the papers.
  • Admit Card and Self Declaration Form: Once Paper 2 begins, candidates must hand over their admit card, which should contain the duly filled and signed self-declaration form, to the invigilator. 

Note- Failure to do any of the abovementioned steps may result in serious consequences, including disqualification from the exam.

What to do after the JEE Advanced 2023 Exam? 

  • Following Instructions: Candidates should wait for instructions from the JEE Advanced invigilator and refrain from leaving their seats until advised to do so.
  • Returning the Admit Card: It is essential for candidates to make sure that they do not take the admit card back with them after the JEE Advanced 2023 exam.
