What is the JEE Advanced 2024 Exam Pattern?
The JEE Advanced 2024 exam has two papers - Paper 1 and Paper 2. Both papers have to be attempted on the exam day. The JEE Advanced 2024 exam pattern is not fixed. The IIT that conducts the test also decides the pattern and marking system for the JEE Advanced. This year, those decisions will be made by IIT Madras. Last year, the JEE Advanced exam had a total of 102 questions worth 360 marks.
JEE Advanced candidates received a question paper focused on comprehension and understanding of three subjects - Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Each subject is then divided into many sections depending on the question paper. The questions in the JEE Advanced 2024 exam can be asked in the form of MCQs, MSQs, Matching Lists, Numerical Value Questions, etc.
The marking pattern also changes for the JEE Advanced exam each year. Depending on the question paper and the type of questions, you can receive full, partial, or negative marks in the exam assessment. The JEE Advanced exam is said to be one of the toughest exams in the world, with only 25% of candidates passing the exam.
