JEE Advanced 2024 Registration for Foreign Nationals Delayed till April 17

New Delhi: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT Madras) has postponed the beginning of the registration process for foreign nationals for JEE Advanced 2024 exam. According to the revised, dates the registration window will now open from April 17, 2024. 

Earlier, the registration process for foreign nationals was supposed to begin on April 15, 2024. The registration deadline though remains the same i.e; May 7, 2024. The candidates will be able to pay the fees till May 10, 2024. 

Only those who are not citizens of India (by birth or naturalized) (but not Overseas Citizens of India / Persons of Indian Origin (OCI/PIO) and have secured OCI/PIO card on or after 04.03.2021) will be eligible to complete JEE Advanced registration for foreign nationals.

IIT Madras has also revised the date for the opening of the application window for Indian Candidates to April 27, 2024. You must check all the necessary eligibility requirements before applying for JEE Advanced 2024. 

What is the Eligibility Criteria for Foreign Nationals to Apply for JEE Advanced 2024?

These candidates are not required to write JEE Main and may register for JEE Advanced 2024 directly subject to fulfilment of other eligibility criteria. Here is the detailed academic eligibility criteria:

1. Must have secured at least 75% aggregate marks in class 12 (or equivalent) Board examination.
2. Must be within the top 20 percentile of successful candidates in their respective class 12 (or equivalent) board examination.

Step 1: Go to the official website: jeeadv.ac.in

Step 2: On the homepage, JEE (Advanced) 2024 Registration for Foreign Nationals 

Step 3: On the new page, log in with JEE Main 2024 application number and password

Step 4: Fill up the form, enter the preferred exam center, upload the documents, and pay the JEE Advanced registration fees

Step 5: Submit the form and take a printout of it for future references
