Students reported the paper to be in a similar pattern as June Session.
The Chemistry section in the paper included a few numerical-based questions from Physical Chemistry. Organic chemistry had good weightage.
There were 90 total questions in the B.E./B.Tech paper divided into chemistry, physics, and mathematics. Each section consists of 10 numerical questions, only five of which were to be answered.
As per the revised marking scheme for JEE Main 2022, 4 marks are awarded for each correct answer while 1 mark is deducted for each incorrect answer.

JEE Main 2022: What’s Next?

JEE Main 2022 Phase 2 answer key is expected to be released in the first week of August. NTA will first release the provisional JEE Main 2022 Answer Key which are open for objections with a payment of Rs 200 per question. Once NTA releases the final answer key no further objections are entertained.

JEE Main 2022 Phase 2 result will be published based on the final answer key. NTA will tentatively release JEE Main 2022 Result in the second week of August.
