According to the announcement made by NTA, the council will be taking objections against the answer key till April 14, 2024. The final answer key will be released after considering the objections submitted by the students on the answer key.

JEE Main 2024 Session 2 Answer Key Released

New Delhi: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the official Answer Key for JEE Main 2024 Session 2 exam on April 12, 2024. Candidates who had appeared for the JEE Main 2024 Session 2 examination can check and download the official answer key from the official website jeemain.nta.ac.in. 

According to the announcement made by NTA, the council will be taking objections against the answer key till April 14, 2024. The final answer key will be released after considering the objections submitted by the students on the answer key. The JEE Main 2024 result will be released on April 25, 2024. 

"If the challenge(s) made by the candidate is found correct, the Answer Key will be revised and applied in the response of all the candidates accordingly. Based on the revised Final Answer Keys, the result will be prepared and declared. No individual candidate will be informed about the acceptance/nonacceptance of his/her challenge. The Keys finalized by the Experts after the settlement of the challenge will be final", the NTA notification read.

You will need to log in using your JEE Main 2024 application ID and password to check and download the answer key. The JEE Main 2024 Session 2 answer key can also be used to predict your scores depending on the answers submitted by you. 

How to Download JEE Main 2024 Session 2 Answer Key?

You can follow the below-mentioned steps to check and download the JEE Main 2024 Session 2 Answer key:

  • Visit the official website of NTA JEE at jeemain.nta.ac.in.
  • Click on the login link and enter the required details.
  • Once done, the answer key will be displayed on the screen.
  • Check the answer key and download the page.
  • Keep a hard copy of the same for further need.

Once downloaded, go through the answer key by the question paper. In case you find any response in the answer key to be incorrect, you must raise objections against that particular answer. You will need to pay a fee of INR 200 to submit your objections through the official website. 

How to Raise Objections Against JEE Main 2024 Session 2 Answer Key?

You can follow the below-mentioned steps to submit your objection against JEE Main 2024 Session 2 Answer Key:

  • Visit the website https://jeemain.nta.ac.in/
  • Click ‘Challenge (s) regarding Answer Key’
  • Login with your Application Number and Date of Birth enter the Security PIN as displayed and Submit.
  • Click ‘Challenge (s) regarding Answer Key’
  • You will see the Question IDs in the below sequential order for JEE (Main) – 2024 Session 2 (April 2024) Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech.) 30+30+30 Questions Mathematics/Physics/Chemistry
  • The ID next to the question under the column ‘Correct Option’ stands for the most appropriate Answer Key by NTA.
  • If you wish to challenge this option, you may use any one or more of the Option IDs given in the next four columns by clicking the check box
  • You may upload supporting documents for which you can select ‘Choose File and Upload (all documents to be put in a single PDF file).
  • After clicking your desired option, for Mathematics / Physics / Chemistry for Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech.), scroll down and ‘Save your claim’ and move on to the next screen.
  • You will see a display of all the Option IDs you have challenged.
  • Click on ‘Save your claim and Pay Fee finally’.
  • Select the Mode of Payment and Pay a non-refundable processing fee @ ₹ 200/- for each question challenged. Make payment through Debit / Credit Card / Net Banking
