NTA has concluded the Day 3 of JEE Mains 2025 April session today, April 4. Candidates reported that the Shift 1 and Shift 2 exams were moderately difficult. Candidates appearing in the exam on JEE Main's second attempt dates – April 7, 8, and 9 can download their JEE Mains Admit Card from jeemain.nta.nic.in 2025 admit card. JEE Mains 2025 Session 2 is conducted in 290 cities across the country and 15 cities outside India.
JEE Mains 2025 Session 2 (April 2, 3, 4, 7) exam have two shifts from: Shift 1 from 9 AM to 12 PM and Shift 2 from 3 PM to 6 PM. The April 8 and 9 exams will have only the first shift from 9 AM to 12/12.30 PM. Around 9 lakh candidates have registered for JEE Mains 2025 session 2 exam.
NOTE: The JEE Main Session Two admit card must be dropped in the designated drop box while leaving the JEE Main exam hall. NTA said the answers would not be evaluated if the candidates failed to deposit their admit cards.

JEE Main 2025 Session 2 papers are expected to be moderate, with a combination of easy, moderate, and tough questions. It is expected that
- Physics will carry approximately 25% of the overall questions
- Chemistry will carry about 30% of the overall questions
- Mathematics will carry approximately 45% of the overall questions

Exam Day Guidelines for JEE Main 2025
Following these essential guidelines for JEE Main 2025 exam ensures a smooth exam experience:
Before the Exam:
- Visit your designated exam center a day in advance to avoid any confusion.
- Arrive at the center at least 30 minutes before the reporting time mentioned on your admit card. Late entry is strictly prohibited.
- Carry essential documents, including a clear printout of your admit card and a valid photo ID.
On the Exam Day:
- Ensure you write your name and roll number on the rough sheets provided, and return them to the invigilator before leaving.
- Accurately fill out the attendance sheet with your signature, left-hand thumb impression, and photograph in the specified areas.
- Stay composed, and prioritize sufficient rest the night before to perform your best.

What to Carry to the Exam Center
- Admit card with Self-Declaration form (printed on A4 size paper)
- A transparent ballpoint pen
- An additional photograph (for the attendance sheet)
- Personal hand sanitizer (50 ml)
- Transparent water bottle
Note: Diabetic students are permitted to carry essential eatables such as sugar tablets and fruits (e.g., bananas, apples, oranges) along with a transparent water bottle. However, packed food items like chocolates, candy, and sandwiches are not allowed.
Candidates reported that in the JEE Main 2025 April 4 Shfit 2 paper, the Maths paper was lenthy, Physics was moderate with theory-based questions, and Chemistry was easy to moderate.
The overall difficulty level of JEE Main 2025 April 3 Shift 2 is moderately difficult.

NTA starts conducting the JEE Main 2025 April 4 Shift 2 exam from 3 PM onwards. It is a three hour exam and ends at 6 PM.
For JEE Main 2025 B.E./B.Tech papers, candidates will score 4 marks for every correct answer. There is a negative marking of 1 mark for every incorrect answer.
Candidates have started entering the JEE Main 2025 exam center for shift 2 exam 1 PM onwaeds. The gates close at 2.30 PM.

Based on the feedback, JEE Main 2025 April 4 Shift 1 chemistry paper was easy to moderate. Physical and Organic Chemistry had a higher weightage whereas Inorganic Chemistry had lower weightage. No questions were out of syllabus.
The inital reaction from candidates show that Mathematics was the toughest section in JEE Main 2025 April 4 Shift 1 exam. The paper was lengthy and had some challenging questions.

Yes, the NTA has released an official notice regarding the postponement of JEE Main Session 2 for specific dates that are clashing. JEE Main 2025 Session 2 exam dates and Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Class XII are overlapping on the same days in April's first week (till April 4). The revised exam datesfor such candidates is hosted on the NTA website and can be downloaded using the login credentials.
