JEE Main 2025: Correction Window Opens for Image Discrepancy; Check Details Here

National Testing Agency (NTA) has opened the correction window for discrepancies in image upload for JEE Main 2025. A few candidates have uploaded photographs that do not meet the specification criteria prescribed by NTA. Such candidates are urged to upload the images as per the required specifications to avoid JEE Main application rejection. Students must upload images as per the specifications before 17 January 2025, 11:50 PM.

Those, whose photographs are to be changed will be informed regarding the same on the registered mobile number and email ID. Students must log in using their credentials and click on the link to upload new photographs.

JEE Main 2025 Specifications for Photographs

Students must follow the guidelines below while uploading their photographs:

• Size and Format:

  • Passport-size photograph should be between 10 kb and 300 kb.

  • File should be in JPG/JPEG format and clearly legible.

• Appearance:

  • Recent coloured photograph with 80% of the face (without mask) visible, including ears, against a white background.

  • Spectacles are allowed only if regularly used.

  • Polaroid and computer-generated photographs are strictly prohibited.

• Additional Notes:

  • Unclear or non-compliant photographs will lead to application rejection.

  • Photographs need not be attested, but candidates are advised to keep 6-8 passport-size colour photographs with a white background for future use.

• Fabrication Warning:

  • Fabricated, de-shaped, or computer-made photographs will be treated as Unfair Means (UFM) and dealt with accordingly.

• Candidates whose photographs need correction must log in to the JEE Main portal at jeemain.nta.nic.in using their credentials and click on the provided link to upload the revised photograph within the specified timeline.

• Applications with fabricated or unclear photographs will not be accepted, and the candidature may be canceled.
