On the day of the exam, you can carry the following items:
- Printed Admit Card (color printout is preferable)
- Valid Photo ID Proof (Aadhaar card, PAN card, Passport, etc.)
- Passport-sized Photograph (as per the application form)
- Transparent water bottle
- Diabetic candidates will be able to carry sugar tablets, fruits (like bananas/apples/oranges)

To download the admit card for JEE Main, students must log on to the JEE Main 2025 official website. On the official website homepage, students must click on the direct link for JEE Main 2025 admit card. After that, enter login credentials and submit the details. The admit card will be displayed on the screen. Students must take printout of the admit card for future reference.
Students can correct the discrepancies in their images by 17 January 2025. Students can visit the official website of JEE Main 2025 to update their photographs.
NTA has opened the image correction window on the official website. Those whose photographs are rejected must upload new photographs as per the specifications prescribed by NTA. Students can check guidelines for JEE Main 2025 image upload guidelines below.
- Candidates must upload a photograph sized between 10 to 300 kb.
- Candidate’s photograph must be uploaded in JPG or JPEG format.
- Photograph must be recent and must cover 80% of the candidate’s face including ears.
- Candidates must name their photographs as “Photograph”.
- Students are advised to keep 6-8 photographs with white background.
The JEE Main 2025 Session 1 Paper I will be conducted on 22, 23, 24, 28 and 29 January 2025. However, the JEE Main 2025 Session 1 Paper II will be conducted on 30 January 2025.
NTA is expected to release the JEE Main 2025 admit card 3 days before the examination. Once released, students can download the admit card for JEE Main 2025 session 1 by visiting the official website.
