In JEE Main 2025 Session 2, 24 candidates scored the 100 NTA score, with 7 toppers from Rajasthan. Out of 24 candidates, 22 male candidates have scored 100 and only 2 females. Check JEE Main Toppers 2025

A total of 10,61,840 candidates registered for JEE Main 2025 Session 2 exams, out of which 9,92,350 candidates appeared for the exam.

This year, a total of 15,39,848 candidates registered for JEE Main 2025 in Session 1 and 2, with 14,75,103 candidates actually appearing for the exam.

 NTA has released the JEE Main 2025 final answer key on the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in. Final Answer Keys for JEE(Main) 2025 Session-2 [Paper-1 (B.E./B.Tech)]

NTA has declared that the JEE Mains 2025 result will be declared by April 19, 2025.

Students claimed that around 9 questions in the JEE Main session 2 question paper had errors. However, as per the JEE final answer key released on Thursday, only 1 out of the 9 errors was rectified. A total of two physics questions were dropped.

However, Keshav Agarwal, director of the media Coaching Federation of India (CFI) highlighted another error in the official answer key.

Explaining why JEE Mains results got delayed and answer key removed, he said the answer for the physics question ID 347577573 was 1, but has now changed it to incorrect answer - 5. Another physics question 603421798 also had 1 as the correct answer, but NTA mentioned '0' as the appropriate answer.

After releasing the JEE Main answer key 2025 on April 17, the key was removed from the official website. NTA declared that ‘The Final Answer Keys of JEE (Main) 2025 Session-II will be available for download on the JEE(Main) website by 2 PM today, i.e. on 18th April, 2025.’ 

As per the final answer key released by NTA, 2 questions have been dropped. Details of the questions dropped from the JEE Main 2025 session 2 exam are listed below.

NTA has created the JEE Main answer key 2025 after considering all the objections raised against the provisional key. The final answer key contains the question ID and correct answers ID for every shift and for every subject. The key is prepared separately for domestic and internation centers.

JEE Main Session 2 results will be declared on 17th April, 2025 by NTA. As per the official updates, the JEE Main result time is expected to be around 7 PM.

NTA has reponded to the JEE Mains answer key discrepencies by saying “NTA has always followed a transparent examination process, which allows candidates to view their recorded responses as soon as the provisional answer keys are released. The NTA considers every challenge to the provisional Answer Key with utmost seriousness.”

NTA has received multiple discrepancies related to JEE Main Response sheet and provisional answer key. Many students and teachers have raised a concern related to errors in JEE Main provisional Answer key. They also reported blank spaces and wrongly marked answers in their recorded responses.

NTA is expected to release the final JEE Main answer key 2025 session today, April 17, 2025, before the results. NTA stated that, 

JEE Main final answer is created after considering the objections raised against the provisional answer key. The Score is determined by only the final Answer Key.

NTA had released the JEE Main 2025 Session 2 Answer Key on April 11, 2025. Students could verify their responses and raise objections, as the challenge window will be open for only 2 days, with a fee of ₹200 per question.
