NTA has released the JEE Main results 2025 for Session 2 on April 19, 2025. The result, cutoff, and toppers list is out on the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in. You can check the JEE Main results live updates here.
The JEE main results has been announced on April 19, 2025 at around 12.38 AM. The JEE Main 2025 session 2 scorecard download link is activated on the official website of JEE Mains - jeemain.nta.nic.in. You are required to enter your application number and password to access the scorecards. Along with the JEE Main result 2025, NTA also announced the JEE Main 2025 cutoff, AIR, and the JEE Main toppers 2025.

A total of 10,61,840 candidates registered for JEE Main 2025 Session 2 exams, out of which 9,92,350 candidates appeared for the exam. In Session 2, 24 candidates scored the perfect 100 NTA score, majory of the toppers are from Rajasthan.
Earlier, JEE Main result for Session 2 was expected to be released on April 17, 2025 by 8:00 p.m. for BE/BTech papers. However, the results were not announced on 17 April. The final answer key was released on April 17 but the agency removed it from the website within hours. Later, the final answer key was released on April 18, at around 2 PM.
This year, 531 centers including 285 Indian cities and 15 foreign countries hosted the NTA JEE Main Session 2 Paper I on April 2, April 3, April 4, April 7, and April 8. The Paper 2 exam was held on April 9, 2025. The Session 2 Paper 1 preliminary answer key was made public on April 11, 2025, and the objection period ended on April 13, 2025. The JEE Main result will include the scores attained in both BE and BTech papers.

To check the JEE Main Session 2 result, you must visit the JEE Main official website - jeemain.nta.nic.in. Click on the JEE Main Result Login NTA link on the homepage and enter your JEE Main Application Number, password/date of birth and security pin.

The JEE Main 2025 Session 2 final answer key, which was scheduled to be released by 2 PM today, has not yet been made available on the official website — jeemain.nta.nic.in. As of 3 P.M, the JEE Main answer key 2025 is not yet released.
As of 2:15 PM, the final answer key for JEE Main 2025 Session 2 has not yet been released on the official website. The JEE Main answer key was expected to go live by 2 PM today, the National Testing Agency (NTA) is yet to make the key available.

Students claimed that around 9 questions in the JEE Main session 2 question paper had errors. However, as per the JEE final answer key released on Thursday, only 1 out of the 9 errors was rectified. A total of two physics questions were dropped.
However, Keshav Agarwal, director of the media Coaching Federation of India (CFI) highlighted another error in the official answer key.
Explaining why JEE Mains results got delayed and answer key removed, he said the answer for the physics question ID 347577573 was 1, but has now changed it to incorrect answer - 5. Another physics question 603421798 also had 1 as the correct answer, but NTA mentioned '0' as the appropriate answer.
"Questions which were correct have been made incorrect, incorrect remains incorrect, and NTA is incorrigible," he added.
NTA has announced that the JEE main Answer Key will be released today, April 18, 2025. The JEE Main 2025 Results will be Announced by April 19, 2025. This is an important update for all candidates.

A 99.5th percentile in the JEE Main exam is generally a rank between 5,200 and 6,200. This percentile places a candidate within the top 0.5% of test-takers. A score above 95 percentile is generally considered a good starting point for a desirable seat in any IIT.

NTA has declared the formula for the calculation of the JEE Main raw score. According to the NTA’s marking scheme, 4 marks are allotted for each correct question and -1 mark is deducted for each wrong answer.

The conducting body NTA has reponded saying “NTA has always followed a transparent examination process, which allows candidates to view their recorded responses as soon as the provisional answer keys are released. The NTA considers every challenge to the provisional Answer Key with utmost seriousness.”
They also stated that the answer key challenge process is a key part of ensuring a fair and reliable system for all candidates. The purpose of the "Answer Key Challenge" process is to remove any anomaly and ensure fairness. As regards as JEE(Main) Session-II, the answer keys, uploaded are only provisional. The Final Answer Keys have not been published so far for JEE (Main) Session-II.
NTA has received multiple discrepancies related to JEE Main Response sheet and provisional answer key. Many students and teachers have raised a concern related to errors in JEE Main provisional Answer key. They also reported blank spaces and wrongly marked answers in their recorded responses.

The JEE Main 2025 cutoff to become eligible for JEE Advanced for the general category candidates will see an increase in 2025.
