In JEE Main 2025 Session 2, 24 candidates scored the 100 NTA score, with 7 toppers from Rajasthan. Out of 24 candidates, 22 male candidates have scored 100 and only 2 females.

This year, a total of 15,39,848 candidates registered for JEE Main 2025 in Session 1 and 2, with 14,75,103 candidates actually appearing for the exam. Here are the shift-wise details:

In JEE Mains 2025 Session 2, 10,61,840 candidates had registered for the exam. Out of this, 9,92,350 candidates actually appeared for the exam on April 2, 3. 4, 7, and 8 combined.

Students can download their scorecard online as JEE Main Session 2 paper 1 Result has been announced by NTA.

The NTA has released the final answer key on the official website. Students are advised to visit the site and access the key using the following credentials:

The JEE Main 2025 Session 2 final answer key, which was scheduled to be released by 2 PM today, has not yet been made available on the official website — jeemain.nta.nic.in. As of 3 P.M, the JEE Main answer key 2025 is not yet released. 

As of 2:15 PM, the final answer key for JEE Main 2025 Session 2 has not yet been released on the official website. The JEE Main answer key was expected to go live by 2 PM today, the National Testing Agency (NTA) is yet to make the key available.

Students won’t have to wait much longer. NTA is set to release the final answer key any moment now.

Students claimed that around 9 questions in the JEE Main session 2 question paper had errors. However, as per the JEE final answer key released on Thursday, only 1 out of the 9 errors was rectified. A total of two physics questions were dropped.

However, Keshav Agarwal, director of the media Coaching Federation of India (CFI) highlighted another error in the official answer key.

Explaining why JEE Mains results got delayed and answer key removed, he said the answer for the physics question ID 347577573 was 1, but has now changed it to incorrect answer - 5. Another physics question 603421798 also had 1 as the correct answer, but NTA mentioned '0' as the appropriate answer.

"Questions which were correct have been made incorrect, incorrect remains incorrect, and NTA is incorrigible," he added.

NTA has announced that the JEE main Answer Key will be released today, April 18, 2025. The JEE Main 2025 Results will be Announced by April 19, 2025. This is an important update for all candidates.

The JEE Main results are expected to be released any time now, students should be very careful. Some websites are pretending to show the results, but they are not real and can be misleading. These websites that you should not check are:

As per the information bulletin, JEE Main session 2 result was expected by April 17. As of now, the scorecard download link or the result notification has not been released. The final answer key was released yesterday but the agency removed it from the website within hours.

NTA is expected to release the JEE Mains result 2025 session 2 on April 17, 2025 somtime around 7 PM. Though the result release time is not officially out, candidates are advised to check the NTA JEE Main offiicial website frequently.

In Session1, Ayush Singhal from Rajasthan secured the top rank (AIR 1) with a perfect score of 300/300 in BE/B.Tech papers. Patne Neel Sandesh from Maharashtra and Sunidhi Singh from MP scored the perfect NTA score for B.Arch and B.Plan papers respectively.

A 99.5th percentile in the JEE Main exam is generally a rank between 5,200 and 6,200. This percentile places a candidate within the top 0.5% of test-takers. A score above 95 percentile is generally considered a good starting point for a desirable seat in any IIT.

A JEE Mains score of 75 is equated to a comparatively lower percentile for general category candidates. With a rank between 2.5 lakhs to 1.5 lakhs, candidates will have access to some state-level and private Engineering colleges.

NTA is expected to release the final JEE Main answer key 2025 session today, April 17, 2025, before the results. Earlier, the provisional answer key was out on April 11 and candidates could raise objections till April 13, 2025.

JEE Main Session 2 result is expected to be released today, 17th April, 2025. The JEE Main Session 2 result time is expected to be in the evening at 7 PM.

NTA is expected to release the JEE Main Session 2 result on April 17, 2025. The result is based on the final answer key declared by experts. Despite the compaints, NTA adviced candidates to not be misled by reports:

“As regards as JEE(Main) Session-II, the answer keys, uploaded are only provisional. The Final Answer Keys have not been published so far for JEE (Main) Session-II. The Score is determined by only the final Answer Key.”

The exact statistics for JEE Mains 2025 Session 2 will be released along with the results. However, reports suggest that over 10 Lakh candidates have appeared for JEE Main 2025 session 2 exam. 

Approximately 13.11 lakh students registered for the JEE Main January session out of which 12.58 lakh students appeared for JEE Main exam, resulting in an attendance rate of 95.93%.​

JEE Main passing marks are different for different categories and vary every year. Students must score more than the passing marks to qualify for the examination.

• General candidates must score around 90 percentile or 85 to 110 marks or more to pass the examination.
• OBC-NCL candidates must score around the 75 percentile to qualify for JEE Main 2025.
• The expected JEE Main passing marks for SC and ST candidates are around the 55 and 50 percentile.
• For PwD candidates, the expected JEE Main passing marks are 1 percentile or 5 to 20 marks. PwD candidates have the lowest cutoff for JEE Main.

NTA has declared the formula for the calculation of the JEE Main raw score. According to the NTA’s marking scheme, 4 marks are allotted for each correct question and -1 mark is deducted for each wrong answer.

JEE Main Scorecard contains details like the Candidate’s Name, Application number, mother's and father’s names, and subject-wise NTA scores. The NTA score given in the JEE Main scorecard is the JEE Main percentile score.

The conducting body NTA has reponded saying “NTA has always followed a transparent examination process, which allows candidates to view their recorded responses as soon as the provisional answer keys are released. The NTA considers every challenge to the provisional Answer Key with utmost seriousness.”

They also stated that the answer key challenge process is a key part of ensuring a fair and reliable system for all candidates. The purpose of the "Answer Key Challenge" process is to remove any anomaly and ensure fairness. As regards as JEE(Main) Session-II, the answer keys, uploaded are only provisional. The Final Answer Keys have not been published so far for JEE (Main) Session-II. 

NTA has received multiple discrepancies related to JEE Main Response sheet and provisional answer key. Many students and teachers have raised a concern related to errors in JEE Main provisional Answer key. They also reported blank spaces and wrongly marked answers in their recorded responses.

The JEE Main 2025 cutoff to become eligible for JEE Advanced for the general category candidates will see an increase in 2025. JEE Main Session 2 response sheet has been released on April 11 along with the JEE Main Answer Key. The response sheet contains the answers marked by the candidates on the exam day, to be used to cross-check their answers with the JEE Main Answer Key and calculate their scores.

NTA releases the JEE Main 2025 Result Scorecard on the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in. Candidates can download it with their applictaion number and password.
