NTA has concluded the JEE Main 2025 April Session Day 1 exam on 2nd April 2025. JEE Main 2025 April 2 Shift 2 has been conducted from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Shift 1 exam has ended at 12 noon. The Paper 1 exam is for admission to BE.B.Tech courses. Based on the initial reaction, the shift 1 is reported to be moderately difficult. NTA JEE Mains Admit Card 2025 Session 2 has been released. Candidates appearing in the exam on JEE Main second attempt dates of April 2, 3, and 4 can download their admit card from jeemain.nta.nic.in 2025 admit card. The admit card for upcoming exams will be released in due time. JEE Mains 2025 Session 2 is conducted in 290 cities across the country and 15 cities outside India.
JEE Mains 2025 Session 2 (April 2, 3, 4, 7) exam will have two shifts from 9 am to 12 pm and 3 pm to 6 pm, while the April 8 and 9 exams will have only one shift from 3 pm to 6 pm. Around 9 lakh candidates have registered for JEE Mains 2025 session 2 exam.
NOTE: The JEE Main Session Two admit card must be dropped in the designated drop box while leaving the JEE Main exam hall. NTA said the answers would not be evaluated if the candidates failed to deposit their admit cards.

JEE Main 2025 April 2 difficulty level is expected to be moderate, with a combination of easy, moderate, and tough questions. It is expected that Physics will carry approximately 25% of the overall questions, Chemistry will carry about 30%, and Mathematics will carry approximately 45%.

Exam Day Guidelines for JEE Main 2025
To ensure a smooth exam experience, follow these essential guidelines for JEE Main 2025 exam:
Before the Exam:
- Visit your designated exam center a day in advance to avoid any confusion.
- Arrive at the center at least 30 minutes before the reporting time mentioned on your admit card. Late entry is strictly prohibited.
- Carry essential documents, including a clear printout of your admit card and a valid photo ID.
On the Exam Day:
- Ensure you write your name and roll number on the rough sheets provided, and return them to the invigilator before leaving.
- Accurately fill out the attendance sheet with your signature, left-hand thumb impression, and photograph in the specified areas.
- Stay composed, and prioritize sufficient rest the night before to perform your best.

What to Carry to the Exam Center
- Admit card with Self-Declaration form (printed on A4 size paper)
- A transparent ballpoint pen
- An additional photograph (for the attendance sheet)
- Personal hand sanitizer (50 ml)
- Transparent water bottle
Note: Diabetic students are permitted to carry essential eatables such as sugar tablets and fruits (e.g., bananas, apples, oranges) along with a transparent water bottle. However, packed food items like chocolates, candy, and sandwiches are not allowed.

The JEE Main 2025 April 2 Shift 1 Physics paper was comparatively difficult. The topics with higher weightage include Units and Dimension, Pressure, Rotation, Fluid Mechanics, Thermodynamics and so on.
NTA uis scheduled to conduct the JEE Main 2025 Shift 2 exam from 3 PM to 6 PM. The reporting to exam center has started. The gates will close at 2.30 PM and no latecomers will be allowed to sit for the exam.

NTA had received multiple requests from candidates about JEE Main Session 2 and CBSE Class XII overlapping in the first week on April. For those candidates, the JEE Main exam date and slot has been changed. Candidates can check their revised JEE Main 2025 exam date on the official website using your login credentials.
A total of 13,78,232 candidates registered with 13,00,273 candidates appearing for both Paper 1 and Paper 2 accounting a 94.4% attendance rate in JEE Main 2025 session 1. Approximatey 12 lakh candidates are expected to appear for Session 2 papers.
NTA has prescribed certain dress code regulations for JEE Main 2025 to ensure security and prevent any malpractice.Here is the JEE main dress code for female candidates:
