JIPMER Puducherry Calls for Proposals for the 3rd IEC Interventional Studies Meeting to be Conducted in April 2024

New Delhi: The Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER), Puducherry, is inviting online applicants to submit proposals for the 3rd Institutional Ethics Committee (IEC) Interventional Studies meeting scheduled to be conducted in April 2024.

Faculties, PhD scholars, postgraduate students, and undergraduate students are urged to present research proposals endorsed by JSAC, PGRMC, SCTRC, and GJ-Strauss for consideration. These proposals must be approved by the Institutional Ethics Committee for Interventional Studies and should follow the specified format accessible on the website.

The deadline for proposal submissions is on or before Saturday, March 30, 2024. Proposals received prior to the deadline will be reviewed during the IEC Interventional Committee meeting, tentatively scheduled for the second week of April 2024.

Applicants are advised to provide a printed copy of the listed documents to the Member-Secretary of the Institutional Ethics Committee – Interventional Studies at the IEC Office, located on the 1st Floor of the Administrative Block, JIPMER.

1. Covering letter (Forwarded by Guide & HoD).
2. JSAC, UGRMC, PGRMC certificate.
3. GCP certificate of student & guide.
4. Original signed research proposal 
5. Printout of the online IEC application.
6. Signed Original Declaration form.
7. Informed Consent Documents (PIS, Consent forms, Assent forms etc.).
8. Data collection proformas, questionnaires etc.
9. CV of PI / Co-PI (s) / Guide& Co-Guide (s).

The Principal Investigators (PI) and students have been instructed by IIM Jammu to include the documents in the specified order, from A to J.

As per the notice, it specifies that the Principal Investigators must submit the soft copies (merged into one PDF file) of all hard copy documents mentioned in point no. 3, along with Part-A General Information of the proposal in a Word document, to the email address with the subject line: 'Submission of proposal to Third Institutional Ethics Committee Interventional Studies Meeting for April 2024'.
