JKBOPEE 2024: Provisional Selection Lists Released, Comprehensive Stray Round Counselling Guidelines for Paramedical and AYUSH Courses

JKBOPEE has released provisional selection lists for 10th-based paramedical diploma courses and BAMS/BUMS/BPT admissions after the stray round of counselling. Eligible candidates must report with required documents before deadline.

The Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (JKBOPEE) has announced the provisional selection lists for the 10th-Based (FMPHW/MMPHW) Paramedical Diploma Courses and BAMS/BUMS/BPT Courses for the academic year 2024. These lists follow the completion of the stray round of physical counselling, conducted to fill vacant seats across government and private institutions in the Union Territory. Reporting Details for Stray Round Counselling

The candidates provisionally selected shall report for admission to the allotted Colleges / Institutions by or before 18 November 2024 (4 PM) for BAMS/BUMS/BPT and 20 November 2024 (up to 03.00 P.M.) for 10th-based Paramedical Diploma courses along with their relevant certificates in original. 

Documents Required 

For 12th-Based Courses:

  • Domicile Certificate
  • 12th Marks Card
  • Valid Category Certificate (if applicable)
  • Date of Birth Certificate (Diploma or 10th Class Marks Card)

For 10th-Based Courses:

  • Domicile Certificate
  • 10th Marks Card
  • Valid Category Certificate (if applicable)
  • Date of Birth Certificate (10th Marks Card)

Counselling Fee

Candidates participating in the JKBOPEE stray round counselling are required to pay a non-refundable fee of ₹1,000. The payment must be made using POS machines available at BOPEE offices, with debit or credit cards as the only accepted modes of payment. It is important to note that this payment is mandatory for eligibility to participate in the counselling process.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Already Allotted Candidates: No need to attend if already joined a seat in the chosen institution.
  • Upgradation: Candidates from the first round seeking upgradation must bring their fee receipt from the initially allotted institution.
  • Missed Previous Rounds: Candidates absent in earlier rounds due to unavoidable circumstances or marked as "C.N.A." / "S.N.A." can attend.
  • Ineligibility: Candidates already upgraded in the second or mop-up rounds are not eligible.

Reserved and Open Merit Seats

  • Horizontal and reserved category seats from the mop-up round will be prioritized.
  • Unfilled reserved seats will be converted to Open Merit (O.M.) under Section 9(2) of the J&K Reservation Act, 2004.

Important Notes

  • Candidates are advised to stay on-site at the BOPEE office after securing a seat. Any available seat of choice may be immediately claimed if present.
  • JKBOPEE reserves the right to amend schedules or processes due to technical or unforeseen issues.
