JoSAA 2023 Round 2 Cutoff Released: Check Opening & Closing Rank for IITs, NITs, IIITs & GFTIs

New Delhi: Following the announcement of the Seat Allotment result on the official website, the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) has now published the Round 2 Cutoff. The conducting authority had previously released the JoSAA 2023 cutoff for Round 1 on their official website josaa.nic.in. 

In their announcement, the JoSAA authority provided the opening and closing ranks for Round 1, which can be found in the JoSAA counselling 2023 PDF. These ranks indicate the range within which admission is offered to JEE aspirants. 

Candidates who have successfully registered for JoSAA counselling 2023 Round 2 will have the opportunity to view their seat allotment result by using their JEE Main /JEE Advanced application number and password. Therefore, it is not necessary for candidates to provide any additional credentials when accessing the JoSAA 2023 cutoff for Round 2. 

Earlier, on June 30, 2023, the Joint Seat Allocation Authority had already released the JoSAA 2023 seat allotment result for Round 1. Following the release of the JoSAA 2023 seat allocation for Round 1, the conducting authority also declared the JoSAA 2023 cutoff for Round 1 counselling.

It should be noted that the allocation of BTech/BArch seats to candidates in JoSAA 2023 is determined by their ranks, the choices they made for programs and colleges, and the availability of seats. 

Candidates who have been allotted seats during the JoSAA 2023 seat allotment round will have three options: Freeze, Float, or Slide. If a candidate is satisfied with the seat they have been allocated, they can choose the freeze option. However, if they are not content with the seat, they have the option to either float or slide. 

JoSAA 2023 Counselling Round 2 Seat Allotment Result: How to Check?

Go through the steps to check the seat allotment result for JoSAA 2023 Round 2:

Step 1: Visit the official website at josaa.nic.in.

Step 2: Locate and click on the link titled "JoSAA seat allotment list 2023".

Step 3: Provide the necessary login credentials, including your JEE Main/JEE Advanced application number and password, in the designated field.

Step 4: Review the information displayed on the JoSAA 2023 seat allotment letter.

Step 5: Download the JoSAA 2023 seat allotment letter and make sure to print a copy for future reference.

Further, the candidates who have been allocated seats during the JoSAA 2023 seat allotment round 2 will need to select "Online Reporting" and complete the subsequent steps to confirm their admission.

By following these steps, candidates can easily check their seat allotment result for JoSAA 2023 Round 2 and proceed with the necessary procedures for admission confirmation.

JoSAA 2023 Counselling Round 2 Cutoff: How to Check ?

In order to access the opening and closing rank of JoSAA 2023, candidates can follow the steps provided below:

Step 1: Go to the official website @josaa.nic.in.

Step 2: On the homepage, navigate to the "eServices" section and click on "OR-CR 2023".

Step 3: Select the desired options, such as the round, institute type, institute name, academic program, and seat type/category. Once selected, click on the "Submit" button.

Step 4: The JoSAA cutoff 2023 will then be displayed on your screen.

The Joint Seat Allocation Authority periodically releases cutoffs for each round of the JoSAA counselling process. These cutoffs apply to various programs offered by 114 participating institutes, including the prestigious IITs (Indian Institutes of Technology), NITs (National Institutes of Technology), IIITs (Indian Institutes of International Technology), and GFTIs (Government Funded Technical Institutes).

The JoSAA cutoff 2023 is made available after the conclusion of each round of seat allotment results, providing participants with an understanding of the minimum marks required for admission to the IITs.
