JoSAA Round 2 Allotment List 2023 Released @josaa.nic.in, Check Details Here

New Delhi: The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) has has announced the important dates for counselling, today, July 6, 2023, as per which the the JoSAA 2023 Round 2 seat allotment will commence today, while Round 3 is scheduled to start on July 12, 2023, at 5 pm.

In order to secure admission to prestigious institutions such as the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Indian Institutes of Information and Technology (IIITs), and other government-funded technical institutes (GFTIs), candidates are required to successfully complete the JoSAA 2023 counselling process.

According to the JoSAA counselling schedule, candidates are required to complete online reporting, which involves paying the fee, uploading documents, and responding to queries (if necessary), from July 6 to 10.

From July 7 to 11, candidates can withdraw their seat or exit from the seat allocation process for Round 2. The results for JoSAA round 3 seat allocation will be announced on July 12, 2023. 

Meanwhile, the counselling and choice-filling procedure was initiated on June 19 at 10 am. Candidates can access the official website, josaa.nic.in, to view the JoSAA counselling schedule and obtain additional information. 

JoSAA Counselling 2023 Round 2 List: How to Check? 

Candidates can go through the following steps to check the JoSAA counselling 2023. 

Step 1: Visit the official website, josaa.nic.in.

Step 2: On the homepage, locate and click on the candidate activity board.

Step 3: Search for the link labeled 'seat allotment result JoSAA 2023' and click on it.

Step 4: Provide your login details in the provided input fields.

Step 5: The counselling list will be displayed on the screen.

Step 6: Save, download, or print the result for future reference.

JoSAA 2023 Counselling: Documents Required

Following are the documents required for the JoSAA 2023 counselling. 

• Class 10 mark sheet
• Class 12 mark sheet
• Passing certificate
• JEE Main and Advanced rank cards
• Caste certificate 
• Income and assets certificate
• Domicile certificate
• Government-issued photo- id cards such as Aadhar card, Pan card

It should be noted that candidates are assigned BTech/BArch seats based on their ranks, preferences for programs and colleges, and the availability of seats. Candidates who have received seat assignments during the JoSAA 2023 seat allotment round will have the options to Freeze, Float, or Slide. 

If a candidate is content with the assigned seat, they should choose the freeze option. However, if they are not satisfied, they can opt for either the float or slide option.
