New Delhi: The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has extended the registration deadline for Karnataka NEET PG counselling 2023. Eligible candidates can register for Karnataka PG medical and dental counselling until August 13, 6 PM at kea.kar.nic.in.

Candidates who have successfully qualified for the NEET PG 2023 or NEET MDS exam but were previously unable to register with KEA, now have the opportunity to submit their applications online and make payments through the portal starting from 2 pm, August 12, 2023.

Candidates who had registered for Karnataka NEET PG Counselling 2023 but have yet to finalize their applications are also eligible to register once again. Check the documents required, direct link and steps to register for Karnataka NEET PG Counselling 2023 in this article below!

How to Register for Karnataka NEET PG Counselling 2023?

To complete the application process for Karnataka NEET PG Counselling 2023, candidates can go through the following steps:

Step 1: Visit the official application portal of the KEA, @kea.kar.nic.in.

Step 2: On the homepage, locate and click on the link labelled 'Karnataka NEET PG 2023 Counselling.'

Step 3: Use your registration credentials to login and gain access to the application form.

Step 4: Carefully furnish the application form with accurate details and make the prescribed application fee payment.

Step 5: Thoroughly review all the information you have entered on the application form, and subsequently, click on the "Submit" tab.

Step 6: Take a printed copy of the application form for your records and future reference.

According to an official statement, it was conveyed that repeated opportunities were extended for registering and submitting online applications for PGET 2023 from July 26, 2023, to July 31, 2023, and then again from August 2, 2023, to August 3, 2023. 

However, due to requests made by candidates who had cleared the NEET PG and considered the welfare of the student community, a final opportunity has been presented once more for registration and online applications. 

Candidates initiating their registration will need to attend an in-person document verification session on designated dates as specified by KEA. The authority has advised applicants to complete the application process before the specified deadline, as there will be no additional extensions provided.

Documents Required for Karnataka NEET PG Counselling 2023

Candidates will be required to carry the following documents while appearing for the Karnataka NEET PG counselling 2023.

  • Duly filled application form for Karnataka NEET PG Counselling 2023
  • NEET PG 2023 admit card
  • NEET PG 2023 scorecard
  • Two recent passport-sized photographs
  • Valid photo identity proof (such as an Aadhar card, ration card, driving licence, voter ID, or PAN card)
  • Class 10th mark sheet
  • Class 12th mark sheet
  • MBBS mark sheets
  • MCI recognition certificate issued by the institution's head
  • Qualifying degree certificate
  • Internship completion certificate
  • Eligibility Certificate (mandatory for candidates who graduated from institutions other than RGUHS)
  • Migration Certificate (required for candidates who graduated from institutions other than RGUHS)
  • Registration Certificate issued by MCI or SMC
  • Compulsory government service bond on a stamp paper of INR 100
  • Undertaking on a stamp paper of INR 200, signifying the candidate's commitment to serving under Karnataka's state government for 3 years
  • Undertaking a stamp paper of INR 20 for completing the document verification process
  • Caste/community certificate (if applicable)

Karnataka NEET PG Cutoff 2023

KEA has also provided the PG NEET cutoff 2023 as per the notice from the National Board of Examinations (NBE). The general category cutoff is 291 and for Karnataka candidates belonging to SC, ST category it is 257. For NEET MDS 2023, the cutoff for the general category is 272, and for Karnataka candidates belonging to SC, and ST categories it is 238.

According to the information provided by the authority, the PG NEET cutoff for the 2023 session has been established in accordance with the notice issued by the National Board of Examinations (NBE). 

For the general category, the cutoff stands at 291, while for Karnataka candidates belonging to the SC and ST categories, it is set at 257. Concerning NEET MDS 2023, the general category cutoff has been determined as 272, with Karnataka candidates belonging to the SC and ST categories having a cutoff of 238.

Furthermore, KEA has highlighted that non-Karnataka candidates will not qualify for reservation benefits. Therefore, in the NEET-PG 2023 and NEET MDS 2023 examinations, only if they have achieved the stipulated minimum 50th percentile or higher, set for the 'GENERAL (UR)' category as part of the qualifying criteria, will they be eligible to enroll for admissions through KEA within the state of Karnataka.
