LPU Organised 7th International Conference on Computing Sciences with Universities of Russia, Ethiopia

Lovely Professional University (LPU) has recently organised the 7th International Conference on Computing Sciences (ICCS 2023) with Russia’s Southern Federal University (SFedU) & Ethiopia's Mizan Tepi University.

As per the report, thousands of students from LPU interacted with authorities and experts from 21 nations including Russia, Malaysia, Ethiopia, South Korea and Sri Lanka through physical and virtual modes at the international conference. 

During the ICCS 2023, students and participants from top educational institutions across the world submitted a total of 2300 research papers. Out of these submissions, a few selected papers will now be published in Scopus-indexed proceedings/Journals

Speaking on this occasion, Patron of the Conference, LPU’s Pro-Chancellor Rashmi Mittal congratulated the team for their efforts in keeping the legacy of ICCS 2023. She shared that a large number of participants and paper presentations contributed to the success of this event. 

Adding to the statement, she urged students to be the change marker in the current era of regular challenges. She also advised the participants to always be prepared to deal with rapidly evolving technologies and released the abstract book at the end of her speech.

Some of the prominent speakers who joined the event are Prof Dr Mikhail Karyakin, Dr Yana M Demyanenko and Dr Oleg Kravchenko-all three from Southern Federal University, Russia; Director of Research, Prof Dr Valliappan Raju from Perdana University, Malaysia.

Dr Mikhail spoke on AI-based research and Dr Yana talked about ‘computer vision for medical image analysis. Additionally, Prof Dr Smegnew Asemie from Mizan-Tepi University, Ethiopia and Harsh Dewan and S Vikram Singh from a related industry were also present at the conference.
