The State CET Cell has extended CAP round 3 joining and announced the stray vacancy round schedule for NEET PG 2025.

Maharashtra NEET PG 2025 Stray Vacancy Round Schedule Released

The State CET Cell, Maharashtra has issued Notice No. 15 on February 10, 2026, announcing an extension for CAP Round 3 joining and releasing the tentative schedule for the Online Stray Vacancy Round(s) under NEET PG 2025 counselling.

The decision follows the revised counselling timeline published by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) on February 9, 2026. Candidates must complete joining and other formalities within the updated deadlines to avoid penalties.

The State CET Cell has also released the tentative schedule for Online Stray Vacancy Round(s). The same choice filled in the first stray round will be used for subsequent rounds, if conducted.

The authority clarified that the schedule may change based on directions from MCC, Central Government, State Government, or Court orders.

The CET Cell has clearly stated that candidates must check the college fees in advance through the respective college website or the Fees Regulating Authority (FRA) website before filling their choices.

For newly added colleges, Adhoc fees approved by FRA will be applicable. It is mandatory to join the allotted college in the Online Stray Vacancy Round(s), and candidates should regularly visit the official websites of MCC and the State CET Cell for any updates.

All participating colleges have also been instructed to treat Saturdays, Sundays, and Gazetted Holidays as working days to complete the counselling process on time.

After the stray vacancy round is completed, candidates must report to the allotted college with all original documents, submit the required Demand Draft (DD) of fees, and finish all admission formalities within the given deadline.

If a candidate fails to join within the prescribed timeline, it may lead to cancellation of allotment and further penalties as per counselling rules.
