The schedule has been published after the National Medical Commission has reduced the NEET PG 2025-26 qualifying percentile to fill the vacant postgraduate seats.

The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra, has released the CAP Round 3 schedule for NEET PG 2025. It is inviting candidates to register after the reduction of qualifying criteria for admission to postgraduate medical courses by NBE and the revised schedule released by MCC. Interested candidates can apply online through the official website, medicalug2025.mahacet.org.

Candidates have to pay the application fee of INR 3,000, a non-refundable fee. Applicants who failed to register or who did not report to the allotted college, or did not join the college, or have cancelled, can also participate in the CAP 3 and pay the registration fee.

Maharashtra NEET PG Counselling: Eligibility Criteria
Before participating in the Maharashtra NEET PG counselling, students must fulfil the Maharashtra NEET PG counselling eligibility criteria prescribed by JCECEB. Students can check the eligibility for Maharashtra NEET PG counselling below.
- Candidates must be citizens of India.
- Candidates must hold an MBBS degree from any recognised institute affiliated with Maharashtra University of Health Sciences or a deemed university.
- Students must have completed an internship by 15 August 2025.
- Applicants must be registered with the NMC/DCI/SMC/SDC.
- Candidates must have appeared and qualified for NEET PG 2025 with a minimum of the 50th percentile for general or PwD (40th percentile for reserved categories).
