The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to release the NEET UG 2026 advance city intimation slip by April 20-22, 2026, on the official website neet.nta.nic.in. Over 25 lakh registered candidates who applied for NEET UG 2026 can download the city intimation slip using their application number and date of birth. The city intimation slip will inform candidates about their exam city and shift, helping them plan travel and accommodation.
The NEET UG 2026 Exam is scheduled for May 3, 2026 (Sunday), in a single shift from 2:00 PM to 5:20 PM. The city intimation slip is a preliminary document and does NOT contain the exact exam centre address - the full Admit Card with centre details will be released approximately 3-4 days before the exam. Candidates must download the city slip as soon as it is released to plan their exam day logistics.
NEET 2026 is conducted for admission to MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BSMS, BUMS, BHMS, and other undergraduate medical and allied health courses across India. This year, NEET is also mandatory for admission to several Allied Healthcare courses as per NCAHP guidelines.
