The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will soon announce the NEET PG 2024 counseling schedule. Registration began on September 20, with the Supreme Court hearing a plea regarding transparency in the process set for October 25.

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) is set to announce the National Eligibility Entrance Test - Postgraduate (NEET PG) counselling schedule for 2024 shortly. Candidates will soon be able to download the NEET PG counselling schedule through the official MCC website (mcc.nic.in). However, the date and time for the release of this schedule have not been confirmed by the MCC yet.

The NEET PG 2024 round 1 counselling registration began on September 20, 2024. However, the official release of the NEET PG counselling schedule has been delayed, with MCC citing issues with the academic cycle as the reason for the delay. This has led to increasing demand from PG medical aspirants for clarity on the timeline.

Several medical student associations and resident doctor groups have speculated a tentative NEET PG 2024 counselling schedule on social media, though MCC maintains that the schedule will be made available soon.

Candidates are reminded to submit only one registration form for NEET-PG Counselling. Submitting multiple forms will result in disqualification, cancellation of candidature, and further action by MCC, DGHS, or the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) as required.

In other related news, the Supreme Court is set to hear the NEET PG case on October 25, 2024. Candidates have filed a plea urging the court to direct the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) to release the answer keys, raw scores, and response sheets. The plea also highlights alleged transparency issues, as NEET PG 2024 cut-off marks were not released, and the normalization process was used for the first time.

The AIQ (All India Quota) counselling process will consist of four rounds: Round 1, Round 2, Round 3, and an AIQ Stray Vacancy Round. The detailed schedule will be available soon, covering each of these rounds comprehensively.
