New Delhi: As per the latest updates, the NEET PG 2024 Exam scheduled on June 23, 2024 has now been postponed. This decision is taken by the Union Health Ministry as a "precautionary measure" due to allegations on the integrity of competitive examinations. The NEET PG 2024 revised exam dates will be announced soon.

The Ministry of Health has taken the step to review the robustness of the NEET PG 2024 Exam process to ensure fair conduction of the exam. Informing about this decision, the ministry said, "It has accordingly been decided, as a precautionary measure, to postpone the NEET-PG entrance examination, scheduled to be held on June 23, 2024".

"The Ministry of Health sincerely regrets the inconvenience caused to the students. This decision has been taken in the best interests of the students and to maintain the sanctity of the examination process," the ministry added.

NEET PG 2024 Postponement Sparks Concerns

After the announcement of NEET PG 2024 Postponement, several opposition parties and the United Doctors Front Association National have raised their concerns regarding the unfair exam process. The exam was cancelled 10 hours before the exam time.

Lakshya Mittal, national president of the United Doctors Front Association said, ""Candidates have travelled across states and cancelling the exam 10 hours before it is scheduled is no less than playing with the emotions of the doctors. The conducting authorities of both- NEET PG, as well as NEET UG, should be investigated. India's medical education system has been destroyed. However, the CBI enquiry into the NEET-UG issue is a commendable step".
