NEET PG 2024 Supreme Court hearing has been postponed to October 4. The plea was to be heard today, September 30 but as no one appeared on behalf of Central government, the hearing is postponed. CJI requested all Additional Solicitor Generals (ASGs) to be there for the upcoming hearing.

Students are waiting with the hope that today’s hearing will will be fair and the verdict will be on their favour. They are hopeful that issues will be solved and the irregularity in exam conduction and result declaration will also be corrected.

Legal experts have also provided insights into the implications of the hearing. Advocate Priya Singh, who has been following the NEET PG case closely, commented, “Today’s hearing is crucial not just for the candidates but for the integrity of the medical education system in India. The court’s decision could set a precedent for future entrance examinations.”

Anjali Verma, a medical graduate from Delhi, expressed her frustration, stating, “We have invested years into our studies, and it’s disheartening to see so many obstacles in the path to our future. We just want a fair chance to prove ourselves.”

Another candidate, Rajesh Kumar, highlighted the anxiety surrounding the delayed results: “The uncertainty is overwhelming. Our entire future hinges on this exam, and we need clarity as soon as possible.”

Delay in Declaration of Answer Key/ Paper Solution: Another concern raised by the petitioners is delay in releasing the answer key and paper solution.

The Supreme Court of India is set to hear crucial petitions today i.e. September 30, 2024 regarding the NEET PG 2024. Thosands of medical graduates are waiting for the final verdict. The hearing will be based on several issues concerning the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (Postgraduate) such as last-minute changes in the exam pattern, marking issues, inconsistencies in result declaration, release of answer key/ paper solution and overall exam conduction. 19 petitioners including Ishika Jain have filed a case against the NBEMS about the multiple issues of the examination. The hearing was presided over by a bench comprising Chief Justice of India (CJI) DY Chandrachud and Justice Manoj Misra.
