The Supreme Court of India had decided to hear NEET PG pleas today on September 30, 2024. It was previously scheduled on September 27, 2024 but for some reason it was postponed. It was decided that after the hearing NEET PG 2024 counselling schedule will e released. A bench led by CJI DY Chandrachud had to take up the matter likely in the afternoon. As per the latest update, the Supreme Court has postponed the heearing and rescheduled on October 4, 2024. The plea was filed by Ishika Jain and 18 others and the main concern was the last minute changes in the exam pattern.

NEET PG 2024 Supreme Court hearing has been postponed to October 4. The plea was to be heard today, September 30 but as no one appeared on behalf of Central government, the hearing is postponed. CJI requested all Additional Solicitor Generals (ASGs) to be there for the upcoming hearing.

The Supreme Court of India is set to hear crucial petitions today i.e. September 30, 2024 regarding the NEET PG 2024. Thosands of medical graduates are waiting for the final verdict. The hearing will be based on several issues concerning the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (Postgraduate) such as last-minute changes in the exam pattern, marking issues, inconsistencies in result declaration, release of answer key/ paper solution and overall exam conduction. 19 petitioners including Ishika Jain have filed a case against the NBEMS about the multiple issues of the examination. The hearing was presided over by a bench comprising Chief Justice of India (CJI) DY Chandrachud and Justice Manoj Misra.
