NEET SS Counselling 2025 to Begin in February 2026; Check Official Notification Here

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) is expected to start the counselling process for NEET SS 2025-26 in February 2026 for admission to super speciality courses across India. The counselling will be conducted online through the official MCC portal.

Candidates who qualified in NEET SS and meet the eligibility criteria will be allowed to participate in the All India Quota rounds. The complete schedule and detailed guidelines will be published in the information bulletin.

Expected NEET SS Counselling Schedule 2026

NEET SS counselling is conducted by MCC for admission to 13 super speciality courses including DM, MCh, and DNB programmes. The entire process is held online.

As per previous trends, three rounds of All India Quota (AIQ) counselling will be conducted. Candidates must register, fill choices, and lock preferences within the given timeline.

It is important to note that there is no reservation for admission to DM, MCh, and DNB courses, as per the direction of the Hon’ble Supreme Court.

Candidates who wish to participate in NEET SS counselling must meet certain eligibility conditions. They must have appeared for NEET SS 2025 and completed their MBBS and MD/MS degrees from a recognised institute.

The applicant should be an Indian citizen and must secure the minimum qualifying cutoff score for the chosen super speciality. Only those candidates who fulfil all these conditions will be allowed to register and take part in the counselling process.

To secure admission in their preferred college or course, candidates must also clear the required cutoff marks. Based on previous year trends, the cutoff (out of 600) for major specialisation groups was as follows:

• MBBS Degree Certificate
• MD/MS Degree Certificate
• Internship Completion Certificate
• Valid Photo ID Proof
• Passport Size Photographs
