NEET UG 2025 registration is ongoing on the official website. Candidates must register and submit the application form by March 7, 2025 on the official website neet.nta.nic.in.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released a last reminder for the deadline of registration for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG) 2025. The registration process, which opened on February 7, 2025, will end on March 7, 2025, at 11:50 PM (IST). Prospective candidates are advised to finalize their application process much in advance to prevent last-minute issues. 

This year, NEET 2025 test will be conducted on May 4, 2025 (Sunday) in pen-and-paper mode. The test will be conducted from 02:00 PM to 05:00 PM (IST) at different centers all over India and overseas.

NEET 2025 Eligibility Criteria

With 18.7 lakh candidates in 2024 alone, close to 40% of applicants have availed the category-based concessions, reflecting their importance for candidates from reserved groups. The criteria for eligibility bring about an egalitarian and even admission process to all medical entrants.

Educational Qualification
  • Class 12 (or equivalent) from a recognized board
  • Subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Biology (or Biotechnology), and English
Minimum Marks
  • General: 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology
  • SC/ST/OBC: 40%
  • PwD: 45%
Number of Attempts No Limit on attempts, subject to age and other eligibility criteria.
Category-Specific Documents SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PwD candidates must upload relevant category and disability certificates.
Domicile Requirement Required for state quota candidates, varies by state.
Foreign Nationals Eligibility
