NTA has announced a final extension for NIFTEE 2026 applications after repeated student requests.

NIFTEE 2026 Extends Registration Deadline to January 16

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has once again extended the NIFTEE 2026 registration deadline, giving aspirants a last opportunity to apply. Acting on requests from the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) and students nationwide, the extension applies to UG, PG, and NLEA programmes.

The Stage 1 examination is scheduled for February 8, 2026, and will be conducted across 102 cities in both CBT and PBT modes. Authorities have clearly stated this is the final extension.

Applicants are advised to carefully read all instructions available on the official portal before submitting the form. Incomplete applications or unpaid fees will not be accepted. NTA has emphasized that no further extension will be granted under any circumstances, so candidates should avoid waiting until the last day.

After the Stage 1 examination on February 8, 2026, shortlisted candidates will be called for Stage 2, which may include Situation Test, Group Discussion, and Personal Interview, depending on the programme. Details regarding counselling dates, document verification, and seat allotment will be announced after the result declaration.
