NIT Calicut is inviting applications for MBA programs for the 2025-27 academic year. The selection process will be from April 25 to May 10, 2025. Admissions to MBA programs are open under Regular-CAT, Industry Sponsored, and Self-Sponsored.
The selection will be based on CAT score (only for regular MBA), written test and/or personal interview conducted by DMS (Department of Management Studies).

The application fee (non-refundable) is INR 1,000 for OPEN/OBC/EWS candidates and INR 500 for SC/ST/PwD candidates. Candidates have to pay the application fee from the link provided below:

NIT Calicut MBA Admission 2025-27 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognised University or Institution with a minimum of 60% marks (or CGPA 6.0) for GEN/GEN-EWS/OBC-NCL. A minimum of 55% marks (or CGPA 5.5) is required for SC/ST/PwD.
Additionally, the eligibility criteria for category-wise MBA programs are provided below:
- MBA (Regular-CAT): Candidates should have a valid CAT 2024 score. The total intake for the Regular MBA is 75.
- MBA (Industry Sponsored): Candidates should have at least 2 years of continuous industrial/research experience. The total intake for Industry Sponsored MBA is 5.
- MBA (Self-Sponsored): Candidates should have any valid XAT, MAT/ CMAT, CAT, KMAT, or national/state-level admission test scores. The total intake for the Self-Sponsored MBA is 10.
