NLU Delhi Introduces 'Eklavya', A Research Affiliate Program; Check Details Here

New Delhi: NLU Delhi, one of India's premier law universities, has recently launched an innovative research affiliate program called 'Eklavya'. Aspirants can apply for the program through the official website of NLU Delhi at nludelhi.ac.in.

This scheme is open for aspirants who do not have a traditional law degree. With this initiative, the university aims to emphasise its commitment to actively seek partnerships outside the varsity and draw from their experiences and perspectives to develop quality legal scholarship.

NLU Delhi Research Affiliate Program 2023: Eligibility Criteria

To apply for the program, aspirants should have at least three years of demonstrable experience working on issues that have a significant interface with the law. At least three years should have passed after the completion of the UG degree for the candidates.

Those candidates who are working full-time, or part-time employment with any organisation/ firm/ company/ law chambers/ government department, etc will need the approval to be part of this fellowship during the time of final selection.

Candidates who are Self-employed individuals/ freelancers/ independent consultants will have to submit a declaration to that effect at the time of final selection. For more details about the program, candidates are advised to visit the website, nludelhi.ac.in.

NLU Delhi Research Affiliate Program 2023: Documents Required

Aspirants need to submit the online application form along with their CVs. Apart from this candidates would need to submit the below-mentioned statements:

• A statement of no more than 500 words demonstrating experience with issues that have a significant interface with the law and its relevance for the proposed research.
• A statement of no more than 1000 words on the proposed research and paper that the applicant intends to complete during the fellowship. It must clearly identify the research question and its scope must be such that it can be completed in a year.
• A statement of no more than 500 words that provides a feasibility justification speaking to the manner in which the applicant intends to undertake the fellowship alongside existing commitments. Generic justifications will not suffice and there must be a demonstrable feasibility contained in the statement.
